Reaching T2 Scene

Curious to know what the best way to get recognition is in this game... Trent (habib) fascinates me so much and his success is absolutely mental considering his lack of experience compared to other pros. It seems like trials only come from good performance in VLR matches, as well as connections and networking. This makes me think that you need a good team first with good results before moving on / getting into the real T2 scene, but in order to get a solid team you need a minimum amount of connections as well as experience to back it up. Simply just a code that I've been trying to crack for a while now, and I don't know what is more beneficial. Playing in radiant ranked and trying to climb leaderboard (not coordinated, not competing, however playing against better people), or building a roster and playing sh1t scrims, sh1t tourneys, and frankly not really improving at the game. LMK your thoughts

well yeah you do need to get noticed at least in rank, using that to find connections > join/make a team
then just keep grinding to get noticed by some of the T2 teams by either scrims (that's how mCe found trent, he apparently shat on them in scrims), or those T2 tourneys
