Same problem yesterday, do u have Avast antivirus or AVG? After talking with riot support, they told me Avast and AVG detect Vanguard as dangerous so thats why it crashes. I uninstalled Avast as they told me and i could play until a few mins ago when it went down globally

If ur ticket is about Vanguard a human responds, if its because they voice-chat banned u then S.A.M comes into action

I could until servers went down for every1, at least in EU. Even nats and other players twitted that it was down

This is what they responded me (TL,DR):
Good mate,

First of all, thanks for contacting us, I'll try to give you a leg-I say hand in what I can: D

I am very sorry to know that the changes you have been trying, reinstalling, restarting, etc. did not work, but thanks to the reports that you and other people have sent I have news about how to solve it that I hope will give better results, although it cannot be done nothing with those sanctions, we will try to solve it so that no more happens to you.

Now, are you by chance using AVG / Avast antivirus on your PC? In the reports we've been getting about these issues from Vanguard affected people were using these antiviruses. Upon investigation we have seen that the latest Avast update considers Vanguard a threat and blocks its operation.

To verify that this is the cause of the problem, could you temporarily uninstall Avast? This is likely to be resolved in some review of the antivirus updates, but until that happens the easiest way to avoid problems with Vanguard is to remove the AVG / Avast antivirus (they are the same company) from the PC.

If you do not use these antivirus or if eliminating them does not solve the problem, please follow these steps that have been helpful before in similar situations, in this way we will obtain useful technical information to find out the cause if it is not enough to solve it. (I recommend you try the changes first in custom and training to avoid absences and any type of penalty)

First of all: Restart your router. (Press the reset button or keep it off for at least one minute)
Restart your computer.
Once started, right click on the VALORANT icon.
Go to Properties
Go to the Compatibility tab
Check the Run this program as administrator box.
Select Apply

If it still persists, I will need you to download and install our repair tool by clicking here, as we will need more information about your case.

Once installed, run it with administrator permissions, select VALORANT and press the Start button. After a while, you will see a folder on your desktop called Riot Logs. Attach it to your answer and we will do everything possible so that you can play normally.

We are waiting for new news 🐢
