I hope 2022 season changes the spot allocation for each region. How has Brazil got the same number of Champions spots as NA?

What would be the perfect spot allocation in your opinion? Mine is below:

4 EMEA
4 NA
2 Korea
1 Japan
1 China
1 SEA
1 BR
1 Latam
1 APAC

What have they proven?
Who would you take a spot from to give APAC and SEA more slots?

Get a grip mate, APAC and SEA are not top regions

And BR is in Latam. Whats your point? Youre a muppet. Answer the question. Who would you take slots from to give to India? Swear Indian fans are the most deluded. Global esports didn't even make it to semis in Asia LCQ lmao

16 is not enough 24 is a good number like the cs majors

Sure the regions not getting slots in ur list arent that good yet, but the whole point of giving them slots is to improve them to play better and compete, giving NA and EMEA 8 out of the total 16 slots is dumb. Also, I think Riot will expand to more regions and increase the number of slots to 24 to give minor regions more slots and in turn more opportunities to play with the best teams internationally and improve to be able to compete and win tournaments in the future to make it fair for all regions.

the diff between riot and valve was that riot gave more opportunities to the apac region, so giving more slots to na indeed makes it more competitive but it just means you're pretty much giving up on the apac region

Agreed. Id love to see 24 teams, but this was assuming they will keep 16 teams for 2022

Not really, I put a spot for APAC. Also: Where do you draw the line between giving everyone spots and competitive integrity?

No just let 10 NA teams and 10 eu teams they have prooved in past 10 years in csgo that they are fps tier 1 worthy fk all the other regions like SA and OCE coz obv they dont need exposure to better teams to become better they will find on their own how to be top of world ;)

Here is my idea on how riot should proceed for next champions :

I am assuming that all the official tourneys(which will have impact on slot distribution) will be LANs & double elimination

NA+Oce: 4 slots
EU+CIS+TR: 5 Slots
Middle East + North Africa: 1 slots
APAC north(Korea, Japan, China): 3 slots
APAC south(SEA & SA): 3 slots
LATAM+BR: 4 slots

Total : 20

Now for LCQs,

APAC(both north(4 teams) & south(4 teams) combined): 1 slot
NA(6 teams)+OCE(2 teams): 1 slot
EMEA(You can help me with this): 1 slot
South America(Latam(4 teams) & BR(4 teams)): 1 slot

Total: 4 slots

Grand Total: 24 teams

Note: According to some replies I guess cs major format would be a good choice.

Would love to know others' opinion here <3

Thanks & Regards,

dude, you have to understand that now. emea cannot be equal to and na. emea is the combination of 3 regions and also the number of players and the number of teams participating in the tournament is more than NA

Are you on drugs?? APAC is not a different region idiot. Even if Brazil is in LATAM, they have given BR a different spot. But Sea Kr JP are in APAC and APAC isn't taken as different region. If you are saying SA then that's different

SEA should at least have 2 imo. It's a way bigger and possibly better than JP/KR excluding VS ofc.

I wanna see 24 teams so my 24 slots distribution will be:
5 EMEA
4 NA
3 KR
2 SEA
2 JP
2 LATAM
1 BR
1 OCE
and 1 LCQ winner each from APAC, SA, NA, EMEA.

integrated with SEA. And if china joins next year maybe they will be in SEA too or with JP.

Ig that works.

My prob is that they got one chance where only one team represented the region where their duelist was going throug migrane issues and a player underperforming in nervousness
