Why did you guys betray Shroud!

The main stream always gets more viewers than Shroud now.

Today the main stream had like 220k for SEN vs G2 and like 130k for 100T vs Gambit while Shroud was stuck at less than 100k for both games.

Why did you guys stop watching Shroud's stream? You can tell when you watch he is kind of sad now that his viewership has left him for other streams.

I agree, its almost as if he knows no matter what he does his watchparty will get views but then you see someone like kyedaes watchparty that brings an interesting person on with another perspective on matchups (Jonas, Carlos, Boaster and maybe even Roza today).

1) One of the big things that made his Iceland watchparties fun was talking to people like Sean or Hiko (who are now both in Berlin)
2) There are more entertaining options now
3) Shroud isn't interested in any region that isn't NA
4) Riot production makes interlude times more bearable

People watched shroud because he's cracked at fps and an ex csgo pro which adds credibility to his commentary. BUT he literally doesn't give a single fuck about providing commentary and sits/sleeps there with his friends watching it the same way he would if he wasn't streaming. If anything he brings the hype of this s-tier event way down.

He only streams watch parties for free money while putting in 0 effort, I'm surprised there are even still that many people tuned in.

Shroud is at the point where he puts the game and caster volume all the way down and just has a conversation completely unrelated to the game with j9 and that's not entertaining to people who actually want to watch the game.

I honestly had a mental rant about the op of this thread, but IDK how keyboard warriors do it (because, you know, why). The comments are reasonable; difference of taste, and/or what you want out of and want in a watch party, etc., whatever. But the op, especially, that last sentence, did we watch the same stream. Weird man. Just weird.

I'll add though, one of the points I thought of during my mental rant was that kyedae and shroud were both 80k+ despite shroud being late, but kyedae never really dropped.

I'm sorry that I made you rant (mentally) in this way.

If it makes you feel better I'll be honest I was kind of trolling when I made this thread.

I never liked Shroud's co-streams even in iceland because I thought he cared way too little about some of the games but still co-streamed them anyway and just had conversations on the side with J9.

I made this post because I was happy that Shroud was dethroned as the #1 Stream for Berlin and I wanted to stir up more community resentment against him to ensure the community moves on to the main stream or other co-streamers.

I understand that this was in bad faith and may be considered by some to be manipulative behavior but idk tbh In my eyes it's for the good of the competitive community.
