Benched?

If bang is benched is there a chance they bring him back if they don't qual for LCQ... honestly I would rather have bang on TSM than go to LCQ (without him that is). Hopefully TSM rethink their decision because they are screwing with a young talent's career. 2 bad games don't determine how good you are. I'm actually sad looking at the replies to his tweet. They made him play sage/Astra and expect him to be the best player he can be in the biggest match of his career??? Like if they don't rethink this I don't think I can support TSM anymore and honestly I'm hoping that an NA team doesn't even win berlin so TSM doesn't even get a chance. Drone and cutler was understandable (to a certain extent) but Bang (17 years old) is getting fucked by TSM management.

I mean from watching the matches bang really did underperform completely in the playoffs and even in the closed qualifiers he only did really good in the seeding matches, rest were mostly neutral/negative performances, he had good moments like his clutches but when it came to the matches that mattered he really did choke hard, it's not expected of a 17 year old in his first time in real T1 experiences to perform like TenZ but TSM should've known that in the first place and not expect him to be a good out of nowhere on a role that isn't even that natural/comfortable to him. They shouldn't have picked him up in the first place think he needs time on a team like BBG/ABX/LUM/IMT, etc to actually develop properly before he's expected to be a god.

The whole Team played really bad not only bang. They looked like they haven't seen Maps like Breeze before when they played them. All i can say is that the IGL and Coach of TSM aren't helpful for the Team. No postive creativitiy, no good Teamplay and the improvised plays wasn't good at all. From what i remember they had many situations where simple 2-Man teamplays would lead them to easy Rounds and even that wasn't possible. I couldn't see the Coach and IGL level up for over 6 Months so for me it's clear who you normally have to blame. Whoever orders this guys around, makes them feel uncomfortable with whatever they are doing. TSM as an Org makes themselves look like a bunch of Amateurs dropping freshly signed Players and try the same old tricks with just a small difference. I guess they hope to find a Player that will play alone and do all the Job alone so their Star Players Subroza, hazed and Wardell won't get to exhausted or tired.

In short: TSM is just a cheap brainless Org with a lot of Money.

yeah bang is just shaking on real matches they might want to reconsider and put bang on the academy to play in nsg and stuff to play against rng, c9, v1, DZ, any other top t2- low t1 teams and then bring him back to the big leagues where maybe he'll feel more comfortable or they can bench him and they can scrim with envy or other t1 teams.

Usually, when on org decides to pick up a 17yo from a T2/3 domain, they should intend to develop him to be a star player. But that was not what TSM intended for bang, they brought him in expecting a star player effect. Surprise surprise, it didn't pan out. So what is the conclusion here? TSM sucks.

Although I wouldnt say they screw with his career. Now that Bang had some T1 exp, orgs will look at him. He also shows up in his duelist role as well as Sage. I can see saner orgs picking him up to develop him to be a tier 1 player.
