Valorant will be the biggest FPS game ever

This will be because Riot Games is investing and giving due attention to all minor regions, of course we are still at the beginning of the game but I am extremely excited about the future of the competitive scene here, imagine 5 years from now when we have a Champions with the following regions:

EU
NA
TR
CIS
KR
JP
CHINA
BR
LATAM
SEA
OCE
MENA
INDIA

Valorant certainly tends to have a fiercer competitive scene than CSGO, where Europe has always been dominant and is the larger player base, what do you guys think about that?

well i dont think it will get any better if they keep milking their player base for their money instead of actually fixing the game classic riot approach well tbf doe its better than cs devs lol atleast riot tries

Of course, Riot makes constant updates to Valorant and has everything to continue with that compared to League of Legends, but the game still needs to be polished, run and gun is really annoying

yeah the run and gun and the wallbangs are the most annoying things about this game and since its a fairly new game they can take their time and work on making this game better than any other fps out there

I mean wallbangs are a feature not a bug, I agree with run and gun needing a more aggressive nerf tho

Valorant definitely has the potential. But imo, without non-VCT tournaments, it will be difficult, especially in the EU.

hard to determine. CSGO compeitive scene although dominated by Europe, the top 10 switches fairly often, so there is some unpredictability.
Valorant so far, is SEN show only, you dont know if the Valorant scene will be dominated by one region (or team), and the 'wildcard' like SEA, JP etc. will just fall to obscurity once the dust settles

What riot needs to do is make another tourna separate from vct so the other teams that didn't qualify for vct or lan can still play, catch-up and we can still watch matches aside vct. I mean if a team didn't qualify for challengers they will need to wait for months to play again for another qualifier. I hope they take ideas from CSGO scene where they have multiple tourna's and circuit.

That's a strange take. We've literally had one international competition in Valorant so far. The game is 18 months old. Do you really suppose SEN is just going to dominate Valorant forever? That's a shortsighted perspective. Even if they do dominate for years to come, there are other regions outside of NA where the competition is much fiercer. EU, for example, which still hasn't really settled into an established order and almost any team in the top 5 could be considered the best depending on the day (and the meta).

nah without 3rd party tournaments like esl, blast.dreamhack,or seasonal leagues like in lol it will end up losing its hype after a while,no one wants to follow the same circuit year after year with no other tournaments and only 1 organizer

If by any chance India gets into the top seeds , the player base will be 2x of CS , i assure you , Indian Fanbase is much larger than Turkish fanbase and the game hasnt even grown here yet

South Asia (India) and East Asia (China) get 1 and 2 slots respectively in APAC LCQ (with 2 from JP, 2 KR and 3 SEA)
