Is this just a coaching issue? what's going on cause I have seen them fumbled but never this bad. They stomp geng map 1 then proceeded to get 0 4 showing basically nothing and no adaptability in their play.

I think they need western analysts or just a new coach too tbh. After been here a long time and i've seen edg inflexibility the longer the tournament goes on too many times.

feel like just fluctuation in form. But EDG do feel like they gave up the match.

today is a mixture of just mental boom and subpar ideas and strats
especially against a team like LOUD you cant be hesitating on your plays and we saw a lot of them today

I think keeping Haodong as the igl is fine cause he has shown that he can adapt different calling styles
they definitely need to get a foreign coach to bring in new ideas and depth to this roster.

I think they should import an assistant coach and then get an analyst. They need to absorb ideas from other regions along with their current ones to be more challenging internationally and to clean up their play overall. Most of their matches are super scrappy

i think getting an analyst would be nice. Its quite hard to find a good coach. Idk about roster change but if things still don't work out in shanghai, might have to start thinking about that too

I honestly think big changes coming especially if edg management saw that series lol. That's just not normal and speaks a lot to the prep of their coaching staff or igl.

true. because for the past few tournaments it was always similar script for EDG and I don't like how many games they had to play in the off season too. Let them rest a bit man

I think they just play too stiff and all the newer teams have adapted to a more modern approach of playing a little lose and adapt to midrounding calls, apart from PRX, however, PRX trade really well or just have insane individual aim and flexibility. EDG looked like they were just hardstuck on a strat and just kept trying to make it work.

This is definitely a mental issue, it could be due to a coach.
Every time they're down by a lot they just give up and it looks like they just want to go home and stop playing.

EDG will probably fire the coach and management team after this the company wont accept that performance and afteR didn;t even take a timeout on Sunset
