This part wasn't. Sentinels lost in the Challengers 2 not in the Challengers finals. So if NA was formatted like EU. Sentinels wouldn't be at Masters. This provides a high likeliness of someone making a fluke run. And many other teams looked near the same level if not better than Liquid at the time. They just barely made it.

It's like saying that a challengers finals without Sentinels in NA is still a challengers finals that will definitely show the best team. Also BDS only barely lost to Liquid in challengers 2. They barely lost. Imagine if they were the best team at the time but they just choked(this is a joke but it was still possible). Sentinels would've got fucked over if it was this format. But who knows what other team could've gotten fucked over. Literally any team. EU and EMEA have very good formats now so we can be sure that we are bringing the best team to Berlin now.
