Rave master, This is where I started, I picked a book to read at school, I got hooked and ended up reading the whole manga, my teacher had to get a big trash bag for me to take it all home. This also lead me to read one piece right after.
A silent voice, I hated romance anime before for absolutely no reason then one of my friends recommended this anime to me so I had to watch it, did not regret it, then I watched your name and your lie in april, all three didnt miss.
I'll give u an anime: Quanzhi Gaoshou (The King's Avatar).
I don't think many have seen this cause it's chinese anime and not hit some western audience. But this revolves around E-Sports.

Overall, the King's Avatar is a fantastic series about skilled video game players. It uses a logical setup, interesting and developed characters, and well done but easy to miss symbolism and character development, while not slacking on the action and animation in the slightest, to bring a great story about adults who love games. While it may not be the best representation of the eSports scene, it doesn't aim to be, and still manages to have compelling characters and growth.
