Shopify Rebellion remain as the final representative of North America in the upper bracket after Evil Geniuses GC Evil Geniuses GC Inactive PowerPixele Nora Lorri Lorrian Elad StarBound theia Melisa Mundorff received a thrashing at the hands of Team SMG GC Team SMG GC Inactive enerii Odella Abraham Alexy Alexy Francisco shirazi Kelly Jaudian Kamiyu Camille Enriquez yesterday. Despite being the second seed coming out of North America, Shopify Rebellion recorded a 24-0 series record within the Game Changers circuit before falling to EG in the Game Changers NA Series III finals.

The Chao Hui EDG roster made their debut at an international tournament with a handicap due to star duelist Lizhi being out of commission as a result of health issues. EDG opted to utilize substitute player Blue for their run in Brazil.

“We're happy to win so dominantly so we don't have to show what we've been working on as much,” said Noia .

Shopify dominated the competition on their map pick of Haven. An 11-1 defensive half was followed by a pistol round win and conversion to take the map 13-1.

All the stars were shining for the North Americans with florescent , Noia, sarahcat , and alexis putting up stellar numbers individually. A 100% KAST from Noia and alexis combined with greater than 200 ADR from Noia and florescent provided a solid backbone for Shopify to dominate EDG.

The duo of Noia and florescent was too much for Chao Hui EDG.

Sunset saw much of the same from Shopify as a 10-2 first half was easily converted into a 13-2 map victory to pick up the series 2-0. Noia continued her performance from the first map with 24 kills in just 15 rounds and a 1.96 rating.

Noia and florescent stood atop their team's scoreboard across the series with the pair holding 1.85 and 1.84 series ratings with greater than 200 ADR. However, the supporting cast of Shopify remained present with a 90% or higher KAST on every player.

Shopify Rebellion have progressed in the upper bracket and will face off against the victor of BBL Queens vs. KRU Blaze tomorrow.

Chao Hui EDG have been dropped to the lower bracket and will fight for their tournament life against the loser of the aforementioned match.
