FOR FOOTBALL fans
Is this a bad idea, or nah
should mls should bring a relegation system for just accension teams that are basically wildcard expansion teams from the lower US leagues since they cant just kick their franchised teams that paid millions of dollars for their spot, brings more competition and so messi doesn't have to play against literal toddlers?

yeah, usually college players but even if they at least like make some of the t2 leagues here feeder leagues like the league would work but ngl some of these t2 teams can take on these overvalued teams in the mls

no north american sports leagues don't believe in relegation sadly, its due to the fact that the rich owners had to pay millions to buy a spot in their respective league. if a new team joins the league, its cause new owners made a new franchised team and the league wanted an additional spot

Tbf Europe's leagues, such as the Premier League and Ligue 1, certainly have relegation systems if that's what you mean
