The tactics are extremely nuanced, and without a solid grasp of competitive esports, most of the plays will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also the team's deep-rooted legacy, which is deftly woven into their organization - their approach to the game draws heavily from the early legends of esports, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these plays, to realize that they're not just exciting - they say something deep about THE GAME. As a consequence, people who dislike Fnatic truly ARE noobs - of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the skill in their star player's epic outplays, which itself is a cryptic reference to the greats of esports history. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those clueless gamers scratching their heads in confusion as Fnatic's genius unfolds itself on their computer screens.
