Why g2 wants to be in NA?

G2 is a European powerhouse org that got rejected to Valorant franchise because of carlos incident. But even at that time they were going to start in NA. I realise that NA Valorant is more profitable then EU but you need to make it in franchising first. In my opinion it would be much easier to get in EMEA Franchising right now and since they are an EU team it would be nice for fans when they stay here. The rivalitys in EU are much more common like G2 Fnatic or G2 Navi and so on. Where they tried to build up a rival with sentinels they need to get there first.

The other question i have is na so much more profitable? You get more money but you have to pay much more for players and so on.

In my opinion G2 should play in EMEA because they have a big fanbase here.

Yes thats true but look at sentinels. To stay relevant you have to pay so much money only for decent players. NA makes the same mistake like in LOL pay stupid amount of money for t2 players and slowly killing their league.

Competitiveness is useless sadly if u dont make profit from sponsors cause no one watches your games(unless u have an insane roster and win ascension)

I think spanish league with g2 in it would go up alot in viewership and if they could get to franchising it would benifit them really much. Also in EMEA tier 2 i dont belevie you pay much money for player compared to t2 NA

I actually also wonder about this. Like why is G2 in NA for val when they r heavily based in EU. Also y is liquid in EU for val when they r based in NA

Na has a bigger market for valorant. Also, it is smart for organisations to have teams in different regions to build fanbases in multiple regions
