I think people don't realize that it truly dosen't matter if EMEA is shit this yr(which they kinda are)
it dosen't matter if overall APAC or AMERICA played better than EMEA this year as long as FNC wins.
people don't remember which region is stronger overall, they only remember who wins.
I would rather have 1 good team that actually wins than 4 teams that are decent but can never win.
It reminds me of 2021 world which had 3 KR teams in the semis and 1 CN team in the semi
so overall KR was strong in 2021 but does anyone remember that? No. Because the one CN team won.

TLDR: if FNC wins, no one gives a shit if EMEA was bad.

obviously right now we know Americas is clear of all other regions, but unless americas can build brazilian or north american super teams this era will belong to emea

There is not really a big gap between regions this tournament. APAC has 2 good teams (PRX and DRX) and the rest have one each

Then by that logic doesn’t emea have 4 teams because giants played a close series with the best Chinese team, navi played 1 of the most 50 50 games of all time with drx and fut played a close series against eg well that is the only 1 that can be debated as 1 overtime then 1 other map that was a little close might not count as a close series
So emea actually have 3 maybe 4 teams

Emea is one team. Team liquid played 50/50 against Navi. Don't compare match to match. It's always misleading.
