No broadcast revenue, no big sponsors for most of the teams so they are just burning money of investor and its not infinite.

difference is Valorant is much more “child” or teen based

Probably about 1/3 of the players are under 21 maybe even more honestly. Promoting it would still help but could definitely cause problems as well.
