Top-down vs Team-Centered Coaching Structures

What do y'all think of the difference between teams who's coach has most of the control over their strats, comps, and roster moves (like DRX or Leviatan) and teams who's IGL and teammates act independently with the coach being on an even playing field and acting more like an assistant in theorycrafting and gameplans (like NRG and Fnatic)?

Teams like NRG and FNATIC are DEFINITELY better in the long-term, especially when the team is in a slump or something.
Listening to a coach who would not listen to its players wouldn't be fun to play under I would assume

Honestly to me it feels like teams like NRG and Fnatic treat their players like actual professional, working adults.

Teams like old 100T under Seangares or Leviatan always felt like they controlled their players like high schoolers playing for their school's volleyball team; always having to follow what their coach tells them while they themselves aren't treated like the pro players they grinded by themselves to become
