Monthly thread on the guns. I was exclusively a Vandal player but picked up the Phantom after Iceland and it just claps after getting used to it. What's your preference?

Vandal is only good on icebox or breeze, phantom is objectively better with random spray and closer fights

depends on how my aim is feeling, how much they use smokes and how close range i am playing but i am trying to play more with the phantom

Phantom seems more stable after update but I feel like I am clicking more heads by Vandal

For me, the phantom is better in more chaotic situations while the vandal is better when the round gets "slower" because you get more value from their distinct characteristics ( phantom- extra bullets + more forgiving/ vandal 1 top potential) in those situations. So when I play Jett i usually play phantom and when I play Sova I usually play with Vandal.

Imo I think that people will argue over this question forever. The phantom is objectively a better gun in almost all scenarios but nothing feels better than hitting a crisp 1 tap with a vandal and I think that’s why people use it

Edit: also breeze is vandal dominant because of its size

phantom, but when I start whiffing I switch to vandal and practise precise aim and my phantom gets better

Phantom is just better imo, first shot accuracy over Vandal rng any day.

Phantom / Vandal just use the best skin from enemies dead body.

i dont understand why people say vandal is better on breeze and icebox? like yeah youll have some long range fights but you have to hit a head or else ur fucked with the vandal spray and if ur actually good with phantom u would take it even on breeze any day

Phantom is broken I think, people just spray from long distance to kill you it's insane.

BREEZE should theoretically be a vandal map but I like the phantom 2 taps. and I'm way more consistent at it than 1 tap. literally every fking map is a phantom map. especially when I play Jett phantom every day.

vandal is a must in icebox and breeze, the phantom is just not it at the long range fights where it gets outperformed by hte vandal.
In the other hand if u dont use the phantom in split and bind u are 1head, with those small hallways to enter the site it would be a waste not to use it

everyone says phantom spray > vandal spray. But my spray is much more consistent with the vandal for some reason

i have a crappy bp skin on phantom but i have prime vandal, so vandal all day

as if it makes a difference. Unless u are top 0.1%, if you are shit at vandal, you will be shit at phantom. Changing from one to the other won't make u climb rank. #HardTruth

I use the vandal because im d2, im not a pro so why fucking care about trying to be consistent with a gun. I just try to pull off flashy plays in ranked and enjoy myself
