BRAZIL - ONLY ONE IGNITION SERIES TOURNAMENT

Hey guys. First of all, sorry for my English, it's been a while.

Brazil only had one ignition series tournament, sponsered by GamersClub Ultimate. The grand final was in July 19th, with a $3,742 USD prize pool.

If we compare with our latinamerican friends, we're far behind in terms of a competitive scenario. While we had only one, months ago, our hermanos are playing their fourth ignition series tournament (GGTech Invitational #2). If we look to North America and Europe, the situation is even worse for us brazilian: Europe had 6 officials tournaments, and North America, 4.

Without official tournaments, there is no way to develop a competitive scenario: organizations won't invest, players won't be confident to dedicate themselves full time. Nobody disagrees that our region has the potential to become one of the best worldwide, we just need a little push.

Let me know your thoughts.

PS: this month we'll have two big tournaments, but not official (Evolution and OnFire)

PS2: GamersClub has just announced GamersClub Ultimate #2

No one wants to invest here at the moment, create a ignition series tournament is so expensive and actually don't have orgs investing here, have a lot of points about this but this 2 i think that are the most impactful

Unfortunately Riot’s investment is based not on talent but viewership. Even though Brazil has pretty significant viewership, Riot probably thinks pouring money into NA and EU is gonna yield greater returns.

This doesn't make sense, Riot haven't invested more in the game then the actual game.. So what you really saying is that the region doesn't want to invset in to valorant!

The problem is other regions like LAN and LAS are receiving more investment than Brazil. Idk how it works to host an ignition series tournament, but i don't believe that it only depends on the organizations. Riot has an important role in promoving competitive scenario and it should depend on them
