Why does SEA have 2 slots for Champions?

They are possibly the worst region so why do they have as many slots as NA, EU, and BR and more than KR

Worst ? Lmfao X10 played really good SEA deserves 2 slots , especially more than the dumpster fire that was BR. And wdym KR has 2 slots as well.

I think because SEA region literally consists of like 10 countries or something but yea they aren't as competitive as KR in Asia. KR would have got more seeds definitely only if the game was popular in Korea but their scene is quite small. It's like Russia in EU. Very good teams but small scene so Riot give no sh1t

You are right, the teams from Southeast Asia are not as good as the teams from Korea, Japan, LATAM, EU, NA or any other server. Maybe the consideration is because the number of countries on the Southeast Asia server is large (more than 10 countries), and there are many Valorant fans on the Southeast Asia server. And, maybe people are also curious, why does Brazil get 2 slots, which is 1 country, while LATAM which consists of several countries only gets 1 slot? while other countries, such as Japan, Korea (1 country), only get 1 slot.
some of you might say "because Brazil has a very good tradition in FPS games" or "there are so many Valorant fans in Brazil".
I think Brazil gets 1 slot only, and gives 1 additional slot to EU. so, EU gets 4 slots (Or better, 2 EU, 1 TR, 1 CIS).
