I am very sad about the defeat tbh, I even lost my hunger and took my time to dinner, I really think we had total conditions to win but I believe that our players tilt at Bind, on this first day we realized that individually our region is talented and produces good players, but the macrogame is very weak.

Reflecting on these issues, I was able to conclude that in most of the FPS games that we have been successful the macrogame has never been our strong point, we always stand out for the microgame and the individual talent, I don't know, it may be too early to finish these things but I I'm sure our region will learn a lot from this tournament about how we should control the map and press, I really believe that Sharks and KRU played the opponent's game and were shy, tilt and did not impose their own game. What do you think?

Sharks lost in tactics and entered the nuturn game, mainly in ascent, were surprised by the rounds with aggressive beats and were unable to impose rhythm through the astra / killjoy combo. Nuturn proved to be a very strong team tactically. But I believe that we can beat KRÜ and advance in the lower

I agree, it was total merit for Nuturn, they made an excellent series after they were stomped on the first map, strong psychological.

In my opinion, brazil is in a very weak state as of now. With the failure to adapt to the new meta, many of the top teams have reverted to just looking mediocre and in turn fell behind the rest of the world. However I still have faith in vikings, and hopefully with this new roster shuffle in the region the overall quality of the region will rise and will create more teams on the level of vikings. Nothing but love my latino brothers <3

I hope so, my friend, it is painful to have to watch KRU vs Sharks for the elimination game, but let's keep our heads up and trust our teams. NA will be put to the test tomorrow against EU, let's see how it goes.

This meta is not good for the Brazilian style in general. Few teams like to play slower in the meta astra / viper, but this is a terrible mistake since this style is dictating how the game should be played. Much of the rounds nuturn won using solid defense and great black hole timing. Vikings adapted to that meta still in Brazil, and now had a chance to improve in the scrimages

About shark match, I feel like they simply changed their approach in the last two maps and that was their downfall. On haven, they were denying and gathering information pretty well which lead them to almost always hit the bombsites with the fewer amount of players and, also, their execs and their aim was on point. Even when nuturn tried to make their strong set plays, sharks would just play calmly and with great teamwork found a way out. However, on Bind and, especially, Ascent they returned to play in the same more puggy playstyle as is characteristic of the Brazilian Region. They started to play much faster and predictable. They stopped to take away info of Nuturn which lead them to read them very easily. They seemed to have felt the pressure. Besides that, Nuturn comp was very good against quick and aggressive play. I think that if they had maintained the same approach as in Haven they would have won on the third map

Confidence disappeared after BIND, the players tilted imo, we know that Sharks plays that map much better than they did, Ascent too

Indeed, but I honestly believe that in Berlin the Brazilian teams will be much stronger because after the challengers finals + Iceland pros will realize which is the best way to play valorant. In Brazil, I felt that the teams were trying to work out an old game style. However, now is clear which is the best path, so Brazilian pros will focus on that. One evidence that contributes to this idea is the number of teams that changed their lineups.

after astra and the last buffs on viper, valorant became a new game, very different from 2020.

there's that and also the players simply got better. Their utility utilization, for example, is at another level if compared to 2020, so agents or playstyles that can benefit from that is much better this year

I expected Sharks to win haven. I seriously think that NUTURN are the number 5 team in this tournament, and could push any of the top 4 of VKS, SEN, TL, and FNC.

I mean.. Sharks were the underdog to Nuturn in everyone's predictions except for BR friends. Even on betting sites too. I'm more surprised Sharks dominated haven and pushed Nuturn to 1-2

Also I hope to see a new GL roster and Mwzera in Berlin. I just have to see that dude play internationally, he's insane in BR

Agree, it's a incredible proof that their Haven is REALLY strong, today Crazy Raccoon and Sharks surprised me, Kru and V1 creates a GIANT question mark about their performance, but in the end everybody knew who's gonna win.

I always thought Vikings are by far Brazil‘s best team. So why do you already lose faith, maybe they even win the tournament

Stop repeating that you are bad at macro, in valorant you are bad at macro because you have no IGLs. In CS you could never dream of saying that, in 2015-2017 Brazil were the kings of macro play and out manuvering their opponents like nothing. FalleN is even debated as one of the greatest IGLs of all time in CS because of this

I actually don’t really think so. People don’t just surely get crushed and never come back or even fight. Nuturn were probably just suffering from nerves and when they got over it in the 2nd map they could show their true potential

It may be, but LG/SK had very strong players, Coldzera, Fallen, and Fer had a lot of impact in every game. After the scenario became more competitive, it was very difficult for any team to win Astralis because their macro was really solid. You can see that even in football this happens, the Brazilian team never stood out for having a strong tactical scheme, there were always game plans that sought to leverage the great individual talents we had. I'm not saying that Brazil can't beat a Valorant major, but it will have to understand which game plan will enhance our young talents.
