Brazilian two places in the quarterfinals

Did Brazilians directly deserve two places in the quarterfinals?
I don't see such a wide disparity between the NA, EU, BR and KR teams, I don't understand why the Vikings and YNG Sharks teams are already starting to play the tournament directly from the quarter-finals and teams like Fnatic and V1 are playing a type pre-tournament ...

It was randomized which region starts in quarters and FNC and v1 r there cuz 2nd seed. SEN and TL might have more of advantage since they have guaranteed at least 7th/8th place

randomizing isn't a good idea, they should have used logic and history and let fnatic have the bye instead of sharks

Why, there isn't any concrete proof that one major region is better than the other

nope... CS:GO and Valorant are 2 different games with the same type of objective in it
and as Ricky said, there's any concrete proof that can tell us who's better

what about sheer population? emea has 4x that of brazil, so there will be better players

I don't agree with you, even though I don't think Brazil deserves TWO places in the quarterfinals directly, if we follow your logic China should be the best country in the world in football (soccer)

not comparable, because we already have a game that is like valorant, in csgo, which we know emea is the best. in china, people don't grow up playing soccer.

We also have Rainbow six and Brazil is like the best in it (in terms of country), maybe EU as a region is better than BR but I've not been following so not sure about it. Just checked and Brazil has 6/14 teams that are still alive on Six Invitational with 3/4 that are on Upper bracket semifinals.
Tracing parallels with other games is not that relevant atm. After the international events this year I'm pretty sure Riot will make many changes in the seeding. Maybe Br isn't even top3 region. Maybe it's top 2 after EU. We will know after the competitions and I hope Riot addresses it accordingly.
Now about the topic question: Do BR deserves it? No. Do they have any fault on having 2 teams on it? Also no. I think the format of the tournment is pretty trash and the randomization putting all the other 8 teams in the same pack with some of them having advantage over the other just brought even more arguments for people to complain. But no team that got a "lucky" draw has any fault on it. It's very easy to complain after the result. If br had had a bad draw and got both teams the first game while either NA or EU or both had both teams on the second game the other side would be the ones complaining. In the end, blame Riot, not Br, VKS or SHK.

Why population/better players ratio has to be something related to the regions that was randomize to start at the quarter-finals?

nothing. i am saying it shouldnt be random because some teams will place higher than they wouldve normally. this doesnt matter much, as points are region based anyways though

How else should they have done it then it’s not like they have previous valorant competitions to go off, and going off cs results makes no sense. People keep complaining but not providing any solutions

-1st place of NA and EU goes directly to the quarterfinals and doesn't play with anyone.
-BR go directly to the quarterfinals and play with KR and SEA.
-2nd place of NA and EU starts from round of 10 and plays with LATAM and JP.

I think that's fair and nobody has an advantage.

I think Sharks should be in the play in matches with Fnatic and V1 then all the seconds seeds teams would be in the play ins(That would be the consequence of getting second seed in your region). For the last team they could use some criteria like the team with lowest win rate in the challengers finals or the region with the lowest player base. The majority of first seeds teams should play in the top 8, why? Because while we think that NA, EU, BR and KR are the best regions we don't actually have facts about that which are the results of international tournaments, but unfortunately they randomly draw the bracket.
