Is Brazil a favorite?

Iceland without 100T, FPX, Vision Strikers, does Brazil become favorite by sending two of the top 4 in the region? (VKS, GL, Furia, Sharks) The only team I'm afraid and afraid to face would be Gambit and maybe Fnatic, thoughts?

ALL of the teams that participated in EU's masters 1 is already eliminated. I would have never predicted that Liquid and Fnatic would have got top 4 in challengers finals yet here we are. And then Vision Strikers get eliminated... like wtf

I would say that they are. You're an idiot if you think Brazil isn't looking like one of the strongest regions going into Iceland imo

What is the logic behind this?

If 100T, FPX, Vision Strikers lost, it's because other teams were better than them and deserved it, meaning that the competition on Iceland will be even higher than the event with them

The logic is that the teams that were eliminated proved to be more solid during the split but did not yield in the final stages, remember that the championship is in LAN. Do you think that Version1 or Liquid are better able to face the best teams in the world than 100T and FPX?

I mean we are looking at the present not how dominant these teams were in the past. Liquid showed they are better than FPX. FPX even had a second chance and lost to gambit. 100T had two chances too and lost both. VS also been struggling recently , had lost to F4Q before and just got 2 0 by Nuturn. Its sad they don't get to go to iceland after being dominant for so long but that's how it works. The stronger team in the current meta gets to move on. There will be more international lans in the future for these teams to show they're still top.

yeah i find it weird how ppl are like no competition. If these old dominant teams are getting dethrone just means that every region is powering up and getting better. Actually more hype for iceland because of these new teams.

Well they lost a huge viewership because people tend to support big orgs rather than better teams. Just take example how people were on 100Ts side instead of SEN or NV. Or even BBL in turk scene. Nobody even expected OXG to be here

As long as there's Mwzera they'll be favorite

game is still not competetive
the favorites or contenders change at every tournament and every top team still can lose to worse teams. so idk really what to think about brazil

If Sentinels V1/C9 make it through, expect NA to get bodied at Iceland, Team Liquid might hard choke instantly if they make it through. Fnatic is pretty solid and imo the best team in Europe rn. Gambit is sexy af, and Oxygen is pretty meh losing 2-0 to Fnatic and then winning vs Futbolists and Guild, who aren't world class. Nuturn is a great team, as is Damwon (Although Damwon has had an easier run of the bracket avoiding both TNL and VS). SEA or Japan teams might surprise some people. To me the top 4 would probably be something like GL Fnatic Gambit/Liquid/Vikings and Nuturn or a SEA team.
