I just watched Backchat Podcast with Heretics Nukkye and from what he was saying it seems that top EU teams and players are putting in so many hours and effort into developing strats and improving individual play to the point where it starts to affect their mental health. Mental health should definitely come first and I don't encourage this but they seem to be putting so much more effort into the games than NA atleast. Most NA games look like they're straight up pugging and we rarely get to see creative site takes and executes from them. Teams like XSET and recently 100T(although they're stealing execs from EU teams) are a breathe of fresh air but I value the effort these EU players are putting in and hope they win ICELAN.

Quantity of work does not imply higher value of the merchandise, it is much more complex than that, they may have studied both the game and simply arrived in Iceland and not being able to click against regions that have a different style of play or better aim, I think the EUW vs Turkey confrontation will show us what to expect in Iceland, I think the Turks are a little bit like the Brazilians.

I think Turkish players will be remembered with Valorant. Just like we remember Swedish people with CSGO

Perhaps, but I find it very difficult, the legacy of Sweden in CSGO is huge, they are stories of two decades of CS
