Asuna was better but he's not an initiator, he's a flex player. Derrek was good at clutching, that's about it. I'd love to see him pull that off again (he never will, he's not Shao). Trent was a better fragger and multikiller at LCQ than Derrek, and he always will be. Derrek is MID.

I dont hate trent, but history have shown that trent couldn't prove himself on the big stage (offline), while other players could've (like derrek)

at which LAN did Derrek prove himself? surely not Champions 2022 where he posted an amazing 168 ACS avg, 0.83 K/D, and a 0.80 VLR rating? (similar to trent's stats on LAN)

or are you referring to BcJ who had a 0.90 K/D, 177 ACS, and 0.95 VLR rating at his first LAN?

All I did was bring up two players who play the same role as trent, that's why I brought up BcJ. It wasn't out of nowhere.

Also, Derrek won 2/24 clutches at Champions 2022 for an 8% clutch rate. Thats 4x lower than his LCQ clutch rate. Clutching up sometimes on LAN is a bit of an overstatement in my opinion. You're a bit afraid to accept that Derrek flopped on LAN just like trent.
