Ok, TSM needs roster changes. Well not need but if they want to have future VALORANT success. I think they need to drop hazed and Cutler. Although they're good I just think that people and other teams are catching up to their skill. I think they pick up KOLER and Brax for hazed and Cutler. I know this is probably not gonna happen since no one on the team can IGL besides Subroza which I doubt. But it would be cool to see!

you aren't thinking, hazed and cutler are the smartest and most experienced on the team, you could kick one of them maybe, but not both

imo you keep cutler because he is very good in the clutch

I say drop Subroza, since he can be very inconsistent in his matches, he either pops off or has a rough patch, and its like flipping a coin, you dont know what side you're getting until you get it

Subroza as much as you say he has been inconsistent, has averaged about 250 acs when playing on omen, very high for a smoker.

Drone is good, he just needs to find his stride. He may have under performed in the last few VCT S1 games, but he is their main duelist, he actually probably contributes alot to their win pct since he wins alot of vital rounds and clutches. Cutler maybe but even that move might not be it

agree with most of what u said, but i would rather kick hazed than cutler

Why would you kick Hazed over Cutler, right now they need an IGL, accepting that they would only kick one, Hazed has demonstrated more fragging ability and agent flexibility

#15

i would rather keep cutler bcuz he is very good in the clutch and plays extremely smart

He might be good in the clutch, but he doesn't produce the same amount of value on his agent and the same number of clutches to make up for his lack of an agent pool and make him worth keeping over Hazed; Those reasons would really only work if you were getting the same value out of him that 100T were getting out of Hiko.

They're not gonna remove anyone. They've just got back on their footing and barely missed out on masters (probably should've gotten in over geng if we're honest). They might change roles and become more flexible, but they're not gonna add/remove anyone.

They are probably not going to but they should, their style worked when the people's understanding of the game couldn't match up to the fragging ability of TSM and Wardell's OP, but now people's understanding of the game has much improved and Val has nerfed the OP so they are really in need of a big change if they want to win.

I agree but disagree. I think they need a change, but in terms of what players are playing. I think they need more agent flexibility. Hazed has shown that he can be crazy on smoke agents, and is clearly the most comfortable on them. I think subroza needs to start branching out into a sova/cypher kind of role where he can do crazy lurks like he does on omen already.

Sova doesn't give the discreetness of a lurker and I kind of agree with you on Subroza/Cypher, but I do think the lack of a permanent IGL has limited them in terms of comps they can run. They currently play a more puggy style to make up for the lack of consistent and decent calling (as can be seen by the hot potato treatment the role gets between Hazed and Cutler). I think that if they get a permanent IGL, they will be able to commit to a certain comp/style that they can get really good at, for they won't have to be changing comps to make up for the fact that they have no actual IGL

Wardell frags out with the op, and before you say "tHAts WhY heS aN oPPer", he runs the eco of most teams low, and even when he isnt running with an op, he is good on those rifle rounds

TSM just needs a good raze player. Raze is the most important agent in this game now

i think they need a better game plan, sometines they looked very lost on the map :/

And I think tsm should learn to play with just one entry frag in some maps

Until Jett/OP gets another nerf, they will always and should always run 2, Wardell on Jett and An entry Fragger, as long as you have someone like Wardell that makes the most sense.

I don't think they need a roster change, I just think they need to have better comps. It seems like they are always at a disadvantage in terms of agent composition. They seem to run skye just as much as sova, when no doubt sova is a better character on pretty much every map rn except icebox. There's no reason they should run skye on maps like ascent or bind (maybe bind if you have a cypher to clear angles w/ his cam, but not a killjoy). They need to run raze, on pretty much every map (except maybe haven). Raze's util is just too good to clear angles, especially her nade. Phoenix ult is incredible, but in terms of consistent impact, raze definitely has more. I really liked their first strike / pre-first strike comp, with drone on sova, hazed on smokes and cutler on sentinels, roza and wardell on duelists. I also think they could swap hazed and subroza's role, and have subroza play characters like cypher to utilize the lurk effectively.

The biggest problem I see w/ tsm's team is that they don't really have a flex. Cutler and hazed are the closest thing to one, but they both play essential agents to their comp so its hard to have them play a sage or breach without compromising their entire agent composition. I remember drone playing breach at one point, but wardell is kind of a jett one trick, and on some maps she isn't as impactful as other agents like a phoenix or raze. It's a really hard situation to tackle, but hopefully they can learn from Stage 1 and come back stronger.

I think they would love to run other comps, but because they don't have a solid IGL they cant make complicated comps work. They currently play a puggy/ more basic comp to get the most out of the fact that their team is mostly full of fragers and without someone who can take advantage of the abundance of utility that would be available by choosing other comps. You suggest that they just switch some agents, but they have been looking for a comp that will make this roster work for by switching some agents for almost 10 months now. If you have thought of a solution to their problem that involves them not changing the roster, I promise you that they have already thought of it and tried it in scrims.
