If you want to win the tournament in this current format there is no point in winning the winner's final, it's more of a disadvantage. In these 2 Masters this year, the two teams that won the final winner's bracket lost the grand final. The team that wins the semifinal winner takes 3 days off to play the final winner, and when it wins it takes +2 days off to go against the team that wins the lower final that has played several games in a row and is very warmed up and mentally strengthened. The advantage of veto and having more time to practice is useless because there won't be as many high level teams in this stage of the tournament for you to practice with and you have to wait for the winner of the lower final anyway so you can prepare yourself for the team you will face.

The format is really weird. I hate that teams can skip the group stage. Cause Xset and last masters The Guard skipped the group but didn't win a single match. It's a waste. The group stage needs to be somewhat exciting as playoffs.

In this Masters the group stage was cooler than the playoffs, the level was much higher, i'm sure some teams in the playoffs wouldn't have made it past the group stage.

It would be better to have a group stage in a double-robin format with 2 groups or 4 groups and a Swiss format with no direct teams in the playoffs and the single elimination playoffs.

OP they practice vs the teams in the region that are scrimming for LCQ or VRL's not against the tournament teams
PRX and FPX have TL, Acend, Vitality, XL, etc to scrim vs and these are all high level teams

Also the advantages of the upper final winner are immense. The fact FPX won anyway is insane.
0 IQ take sorry

The teams that are going to play in the LCQ are mostly not good and are still reorganizing the team structure so training is not at all fruitful. The only advantage is the vetoes that become useless with such a long break between games.
