Sadly, Japanese fans, especially those of the Zeta division, are aggressive towards Koreans and the teams that beat them.
Twitter and comment sections are filled with slander so bad you can hardly believe your eyes.

U mean like every region?
Every region has fans like that, But Japan i hoped in a sense would be different due to the massive levels of respect which take part in their general lives, they are grown up to respect elders and each other very heavily.

I know bro, it's not that extreme or they wouldnt import kr players all over the place. The dumb fans are just overreacting because zeta gain a lot of support after the last international.

This is a picture of the comment section during the match. Comments like this one were going on all the time, on twitter, about the players' looks, and even worse, slanderous remarks about their families!

personally haven't encountered racism from JP servers except this one time someone called me a gaijin because I had 40 ping instead of 20, and my JP duo had to cover for me lmao, most JP players actually know some Korean too and would say like "saranghaeyo" and stuff lol

Nah bro it’s Korean hate, most of the people mad bc of Korean wining and not Japanese. Every one got really mad when coach started talking in Korean and from that many guys started saying Japanese team?? More like Korean team.

Don’t worry, it’s just like one part. Many are cheering nth but you know we have those bad relationships among Korean and japan. I forgot but I saw some Korean talking about DRX losing japan or something like that? I forgot tho sry if I just missed.

well same thing would happen even if the two players were from America.People saying those things just want to see Japanese-only team winning. Not hating Korean.
I just want to say that most of the young Japanese don't have hate towards Korean

yeah, there was like one or two comments referencing the history between KR and JP ("One shouldn't even lose rock, paper, scissors vs JP") but actually the replies were other Koreans saying "JP always respects DRX and supports our teams why can't you?".

This was when DRX lost to ZETA iirc. I think Korean community is mostly friendly to JP and hates CN instead.

Thanks for information bro, I mean jpn’s esports age ranges are wide so I think those who hate is old stereotype not young boy's.( I really hope not the young people hating Korean)

the young guys seem to be pretty friendly! I've made some JP friends who are all young, and they're super chill and fun to play with.
