coaches don't play ranked in their off time, they watch VODS of other teams (Termi and Alecks) as seen in the pacific coach video. Astel even say " I was a former player before becoming coach, I can get radiant easy If I have the time".
At the end of the season till new season begins, there needs to be 3 months off to have time for new signing VISA. Xccurate and Jemkin took 3 months for theirs, unless 6 person roster mandatory rule comes back to prevent this. New season mid January to end august/mid september is best schedule as it doesn't overlap December Christmas holiday and doesn't overlap League worlds schedule end of september.

Pacific: Pacific split 1 (23 days) compared to other region (30 days), T1 and GenG both have to play 4 games in 9 days (only 2 teams from entire 44 btw). Everyone also hating T1 for qualifying, hating GenG for losing to T1 and calling DRX washed for losing to GenG.
Pacific: PRX and 3 KR teams, sounds about right.

Will cause massive inconvenience, GenG will be heavily monitored, their game match will be censored on Chinese social media broadcast (not for international viewers), local fans attending would not cheer for them and will cause controversy in mainland China (maybe not internationally).
