I like this but I think G2 is above C9 and EG currently are above LOUD
Too much stock in c9 winning against cocky LEV, KRU way too low G2 way too low. This ain’t accurate
Never lose faith in KRU my young grasshopper, big mistake.
i feel they have a good shot too but a favorite since they made last event and w00t is coming in too so I didn't include in list
You don't think between the 4 of KC, TH, FNC, and NAVI are the favorites to make it?
they didn't make Madrid and don't feel any other team is able to even come close to going to Shanghai so I just threw em in
For each region I feel the slots to Shanghai are highly contested especially in Americas, EMEA, and APAC (I have no fucking clue on what china is doing).
My dark horse picks (my opinion):
Americas - KRU / G2
EMEA - VIT / FUT
APAC - DRX / T1
Just me what are yall's thoughts on who could sneak in?
emea - vitality
pacific - talon
china - titan esports club / wolves
pati and coach instead of woot and miniboo for first 2 weeks. unknown for the other weeks prob put woot in as soon as he gets visa and miniboo back in 2 weeks confirmed until further notice
I'm predetermining the coming weeks pickems.
I dare you to make your pickems for all of stage 1 like me, and let your pickems be throughout the weeks.
I wanna come back to this and see how well I can do or you. You can send your pickem link here and promise not to change it.
of course you can change it but I want to set up a little challenge
My pickems:
emea - https://www.vlr.gg/pickem/74c67ac1
china - https://www.vlr.gg/pickem/6e8e0656
pacific - https://www.vlr.gg/pickem/dcc706b9
americas - https://www.vlr.gg/pickem/997e3c11
List of top 10 favorite players I want to watch at Madrid:
that's what new agent is trying to be, both an alternative second smokes and someone who could be able to lurk and still powerful
yeah sorry bout that, head must be screwed a little loose, you're looking pretty dumb
both teams changed drastically no jinggg = not great, drx lost zest and rb atleast top 3 sentenel in the world.
You can't tell me EMEA and AMERICAS are the best regions, fnatic the most dominant team last year and NAVI a team that has won a masters before didn't qual and even FUT not even qualling to play-ins when then get an upgrade of cNed.
most definitely not the farmer region, that would be the Pacific. N4RRATE is the truth
EDG might possible do it for once
SEN v Heretics 2-1
PRX v EDG 2-1
LOUD v Gen.G 2-0
KC v FPX 2-0
just straight up guessing next matchups:
SEN v PRX 1-2
LOUD v KC 2-0
Gen.G v FPX 2-0
EDG v Heretics 2-1
KC v SEN 1-2 (banger)
Gen.G v EDG 1-2 (also banger)
SEN v PRX 2-0
LOUD v EDG 2-1
SEN v LOUD 1-3
Rb - Sentinel/flex
Jinggg - duelist
Mako - smokes
Saadhak - IGL initiator
Nats - viper
Points is the only form of qualification for the Masters and Champions events.
Points are given for wins in each split and winning events/playoffs
nah they have good antistratting from their coach and he midrounds pretty well. They just seem a little underpowered besides nataNk and TakaS
fair, I could see them going to madrid based on who they'd be up against
for champs last year there was VCT fantasy, I'm not sure when they will start again or if it will be during international leagues but it was fun for champs 2023
even without groups, they played more maps and matches. average without groups in Tokyo maps: 18 instead of 20, matches: 6 instead of 7. As for the best of 5's, that's my whole point, they stretched out long matches and still did well. Just thinking about why teams are successful.
it took 4 mins lol, I was bored fucking your mom
The top 3 teams in 2023 (no debate) have bizarre statistics in international events (Excluding LOCK//IN)
Paper Rex:
avg maps played: 15.5
avg placement: 2.5
avg matches played: 5.5
Fnatic:
avg maps played: 12
avg placement: 2.5
avg matches: 5
Evil Geniuses:
avg maps played: 20
avg placement: 1.5
avg matches: 7
Thoughts?
