no stream? sadge
I only have 2-3 friends from uni, all my closest and most active circles are from high school or before (my childhood friends are still my closest friends). Granted, this is by choice, as attending student life events in uni just gives me anxiety usually and i havent put in any real effort into making new friends cause i'm happy with my current friends.
if cned doesnt go to FUT or BBL I'll be seriously shocked
they will cause there are 2 spots for emea, one for the winner of this and one based on circuit points. g2 has the most circuit points and guild the 2nd most, so these two are going to berlin no matter what
theyre actually stomping g2 now, hope they can finish it out
wait this is an age old thread lmao
plat 1 EU
youre a weirdo but you get an upvote for this cause it made for a hilarious exchange
not an org but OnlyFins is the best name ever and as a fellow Finn I'm obligated to bring that up
i genuinely feel like this would be good for sentinels
iron 2 - plat 1. first ever shooter but i've played for a year and a half now so im running out of excuses
back in bronze-ish i'd always play worse after a VCT tournament cause i'd spend 3 weeks watching pros play and then have to wake up to the reality of my games not looking anything like that
who was fpx's, in your opinion? ange1 doesn't frag and does troll a fair bit but he's still igl'ing a masters winning team so i have a hard time saying he's a "weak link". (unless in your opinion the rest of the team is just SO good that they won despite ange1 and not because of him, but i disagee)
i think i read somewhere that they do want to be signed as a 6 (so all the players plus chet) so "all of us or none of us" could very well be the case
damn what the hell
The players who have even the slightest chance to make it to a franchised team (since like everyone and their mother will be making roster changes) rather take that chance. Those who end up not making it will then form teams for T2 aka Challengers.
maybe if initiators as a class get some sort of a nerf/rework so we wont be seeing this double/triple duelist meta so much. that'd give more room for duelist niches. then again this initiator meta is way more entertaining than the jett/sova meta
no joke probably covid
not bc big desks & more distance between players of the same team help at all, but when the first tournaments took place, everyone was still so used to keeping a distance and having the players super close to each other wouldve looked off to viewers and potentially been bad rep for riot organizers. They got into the habit for good optics and of course these big stage designs do look pretty cool so they stuck with it. i like the spacious design, anyway. and the air fist bumps did not seem odd at all in the early days of valorant lan due to pandemic time habits of not touching
agreed, this is weird. sure, it's a joke or whatever, but making that kind of a joke about a minor... yikes
big agree, altho im also super into enzo
i prefer double elim, more matches to watch <3
ur side note was the best part abt this post
i was watching TMV's costream but didnt get drops until i opened the main channel stream on my phone for 30min to get the drop, lol. guess only the biggest costreams get it
are the drops only on the official valorant accounts or also the co-streams?
whatever alternate universe you guys have found your way into, can i please join? another nats-less lan is breaking my heart
loud got 2nd in m1, in m2 they got grouped. could happen again, maybe a runner-up curse in the making?
you know what, respect
Xset being the most boring is actually so correct, lol
yep, talking about asia as a whole and ignoring the apac & east split while talking about NA and SA as fully separate is some prime american self-centeredness. the americas have 7 slots, asia has 6.
u mean champs?
bro i have no clue abt the context either but even still i know that to comment sth like this is plain stupid and misses the point
this is literally not at all what happens, take a look at emea rosters and see how many nationalities are represented in just a few teams. its completely normal for all 5 players to be from different countries.
leave it to vlr to cry about a competitive esports scene lmao. no one's stomping this event and that's objectively amazing
love that every other region is basically set (other than LATAM), and then all of EMEA is just in shambles and nothing's guaranteed and everyone's qualification requirements are so complicated
staying consistent is difficult, that's what makes it so entertaining to watch. it's not even that loud or optic played like shit (sure, yay had an off day but the maps were close), the other teams are just also very very good at the game
Title. Why are so many people so disproportionately angry about this, that the two finalists from last time are facing an elimination match this early? It just shows the scene is healthy and competitive. I think it's amazing to not have the same people playing for every title, you really have to work your way through the brackets and deserve the trophy. Makes everything so much more enjoyable to watch!
I understand frustration over LOUD having to play through the groups despite being dominant at home, because that seeding was out of their hands and I agree it's a stupid system. But other than that, you really just have to earn your spot and keep performing, can't expect one good tournament to grant you consistent top placements. There's a lot of competition internationally, the game is constantly evolving, and you have to stay on top of that if you truly want to keep calling yourself the best. It's literally just healthy for the sport.
the scene is growing, other teams are getting better. c9w losing matches and having to work harder for success than before is amazingly healthy for the scene, and as much as i love them, im happy to see this!
