you are totally right! but I worry about a team that builds for this current meta as opposed to an unchanging one. ya know? also considering how Riot is actively trying to nerf Chamber and buff other sentinels like Cypher. Its tough to build for though. Thats for sure!

posted about a year ago

Why no Zander? Just curious :) I like the current 100T roster, but curious why you don’t want Zander.

posted about a year ago

I have been thinking of this, & C9 need a Sentinel or Controller. If Marved joins, Vanity will most likely move to Sentinel.

yay - Primary Oper/Duelist
leaf - Flex/Secondary Duelist
Xeppa - Primary Initiator/Secondary Flex
??? - Sentinel
Vanity - Controller

Just my thoughts :)

This guy has no idea. Asuna has been the best & most consistent player for 100T. Has a bad series battling COVID & little practice against some of the top teams IN THE WORLD. But yeah, “he’s bad.”

posted about a year ago

Wait what? Why finally? His stats are pretty good for a sentinel. Am I missing something?

Nothing but respect for DRX. They kept grinding. Kept showing up to every tourney, & they were INCREDIBLE this year. Head up king 👑

What did dephh do? I am not really aware of what happened and why :) anyone cool to explain?

Yeah it was a scuffed situation either way.

You’re right OP. I definitely get way too into it. If anything I said bothered you or added to it my bad. For real. Have a good day! Any EMEA team could still take it. Tons of crazy talent on all of those teams :)

posted about a year ago

XSET played really well! Crazy having all 3 EMEA teams in lowers, but any of those teams could make a run. Good luck to them all!

Mans pretty quiet now. Good pred though. Was a quick 2-0.

I'll reply. What's up? Its so crazy to me how you all act as if your silver rank perspectives on this game and the play between regions even matters at all.

me? brother I don't even know you. have a good one :)

posted about a year ago

man you cannot really enjoy being this annoying and pathetic. ggs bro. please find something to do other than being the way you are.

posted about a year ago

What did he say? Legitimately annoyed if an EMEA org gets an NA slot instead of an org that’s been investing in the scene & region

posted about a year ago

This man shows exactly why Chamber should be deleted xD

posted about a year ago

I definitely think it’s possible :) 100T have the coaching, skill, & fundamentals to beat FNC. Won’t be easy especially with COVID, nerves & such, but for sure possible! 100T all the way

posted about a year ago

That’s why. No real life exposure.

posted about a year ago

Dang that sucks. I mean, of course I want them to do well, but man it must stink to get to LAN & Champions of all that just to get sick..dang! Praying they get better soon.

I think it’s a few things.

  1. Streaming - I know this sounds like beating a dead horse, but truly there is more (potential) money for a player in streaming than most in going pro. Therefore focus is split a little which can cause some issues.

  2. Culture - Like someone mentioned above, many pros have said that a lot of teams in NA don’t take scrims and things seriously. This is changing, but teams on the whole apparently aren’t too serious.

  3. Money - In EMEA, there is a scene and a path for tier 2 that allows for fresh & upcoming talent to constantly be gaining experience & moving. On top of that, the relationships between orgs and players allows for tier 1 talent to shuffle as well between teams to be consistently creating the best teams (take FNATIC for example). NA teams & orgs have set outrageous buyouts, so players are a little more stagnant. Talent doesn’t shift between teams as often, & even tier 2 NA orgs have outrageous buyouts for their players. In an unproven scene, that is hard for orgs to jump on & it hurts growth. I mean just look at some tier 2 talent that has come up in NA versus EMEA. (Cryo, Zander, & who else really?) versus (Alfajer, most of G2s roster, most of ACENDs new roster, & a few others)

Man EMEA fans are something else. You really think that after Fanatic's performance at the last Masters, 100T have "NO" chance? sure I am 100T fan, so I am biased. I can admit, I think this will be a tough fight for 100T, I think Fanatic are an excellent. But really, honestly, you think Boaster is the God of VALORANT? Where the titles? Where are the trophies? You started this not me. Don't even start with "where are the 100T trophies" because I didn't want this you did. I don't think 100T is the gift to VALORANT, but when Fanatic lose, I will be sure to come back here to say hey <3

posted about a year ago

yes you did! well you are a real one, so I really hope T1 starts this next season off really well :) hope nothing but the best for you!

posted about a year ago

hey meky this is not bait or hate, for real. genuine question from someone who is not a T1 fan. What made you stick by them for this long? Why are you a T1 VALORANT fan? :)

posted about a year ago

So with there only being 10 franchise spots for the Americas (NA, LATAM, SA, & BR) international league, who do y’all think will make it? :)

posted about a year ago

6 in the top 5 lul

posted about a year ago

This has to be bait right? I mean. You realize they boot camped for five straight weeks in preparation for LCQ? Then they got a single day off. One. & Asuna spent his single day off playing VALORANT? Yeah, but you’re right, they fell off.

Guy is comparing a 2 year old game to a 15+ year old game…crazy

posted about a year ago

Without any trolling (please vlr just looking for a legit conversation here)

Can someone explain why EMEA & NA have 3 representatives going to Champions, while APAC (I’m including Korea and Japan in that) have 6 slots, & SA (combining LATAM & Brazil) has 4 slots?

Is the viewership & support in these regions that much higher than EMEA & NA? Or am I missing something else? :) thanks!

posted about a year ago

wait are you really the one to call out roster moves? Fnatic?

posted about a year ago

Sean said in Vandals (YouTube “show” with esports Doug) they are trying to integrate new comps, but really focused on fundamentals, formulating base layers for the team, & creating a more consistent map pool. New comps will probably come later :)

All these twelve year olds with keyboard courage think they can do a better job. Then do it.

Constructive criticism is fine, but y’all are cringe. Pansy is an incredible caster. Are there things she could maybe work on? Probably. But as someone who loves the scene and doesn’t love EMEA, she makes it entertaining & great as a viewer. Keep it up Pansy! Appreciate ya

then why are you here?

posted about a year ago

wait I know I am a 100T fan boy, so take my opinion with a grain of salt, but did we watch the same 100T and SEN this weekend? This match will be close, but I am pretty confident 100T will take it. Thats just me though :)

posted about a year ago

guys this team almost qualified in the first round of qualifications. This was against teams that have been working together for months. Teams that have deep strategies, protocols, and variabilities in their play. Against 100T with two new coaches (MikesHD isn't new to coaching but new to 100T, I know) two young players on TOTALLY different roles, and three weeks of practice. This team will go far just give them time :)

She is the worst “solo” initiator, but her combo potential with flash agents, Raze, & others is pretty good.

posted about a year ago

Just the absolute biggest W. VALORANT was the first esports scene that I fell in love with, and it looks like Riot is committed to making it the best it can be. Serious W.

posted about a year ago

Her wall not doing damage to enemies is a really big nerf. The greatest part of the wall was that it would give you a place to run to or from by yourself or with teammates. Now enemies can jump in with you without getting hurt. The reason that other "walls" are good in the game is because they punish the enemy for pushing. Her wall doesn't now.

Yeah the reason I said “one team region” is because DRX absolutely demolished in their region. They always have. Other than Nuturn last year, there has not been a single team that has been able to topple them. However, to your point, it’s hard to scale teams to international competition considering they have never been.

It’s all guesswork when comparing regions, so seeing how DRX performs at international events and how they destroy in their region leads me to think the REGION not DRX has a lot of work to do, & they will absolutely be really good.

As far as APAC/SEA, I rated them above KR because, as a region, they have outperformed KR in more recent tournaments (APAC LCQ, Champions, & now this Masters)

posted about a year ago

I don’t get it. I know this is bait to get people upset, but why? Why do you enjoy being like this? It’s sad, but I hope your day gets better brotha :)

posted about a year ago

I would say when talking about region’s generally? I think a fair breakdown would be:

  1. EMEA (consistent top finishes and masters wins in 2021)
  2. NA (Early year dominance and high finishes in Masters 2021 -minus Champions of course + this Masters)
  3. SEA (Major improvements throughout 2021 plus showed real skill in Champions and this Masters + they have multiple teams doing well)
  4. BRAZIL (Obviously LOUD is absolutely insane, but as a region I think LOUD are tiers above their competitors in BR similar to situation in KR with DRX.)
  5. KOREA/JP (KR is a one team region but who knows with the rest of the year. We will see how OnSlayers does. But JP was majorly impressive this Masters. However, they look like a 1 team region too)

But that is just my opinion :)
