I also think part of it is that the Turkish scene in CS was very full of Nepotism which hindered the T2 scene from rising, same reason why NA is better in Val than CS and everyone moved over.

Yeah I love the Guard core, I just think G2 as an org is disliked in Valorant. You can't really blame anyone besides Ocelot

then they swapped nukkye for an upcoming player (purp0) and just removed redgar for famsii (upcoming player) and still still kinda sucked. overall it's a very cheap roster built by leftovers and upcoming talents for the most part especially their newest iteration

ethan sticks to same roles

also if they can't get verno (ascends) they can get brawk who has played viper a little in the past, meaning fns can hard stick to senti or flex off for no-senti comps (which are becoming a thing sometimes) and brawk can hard initiator and flex to viper if needed

agreed, but to be fair TS did kick that trend this season by picking up upcoming players which is pretty much the reason why they're doing well now, they actually put in the effort to scout and pick up strong talent.
