as a prx fan, this year has been absolute shite but I still love this team and do not want anyone (even j0ngg) to get dropped
I just feel like a few changes in the structure and agent comps can definitely help this team succeed.

1. W Gaming can still work but a certain j0ngg and s0mething needs to stop pressing W after they get first blood, especially j0ngg. When he gets first blood, bro just keeps pressing W and dies alone. What he needs to do is to have the initiative and just tell the rest of his team to peek WITH him together. Again I have no hate to jinggg and I love his personality but his overheats just cost prx so many rounds

2. Obvious agent comp changes, j0ngg will become jingg again if he expands his agent pool into sentinels, and also this is the coaching staff's fault as well for sticking into weird team comps that DOES work for prx, but it won't get you far in a Bo5 grand final because your agent pool is so limited due to jingg, which leads davai and forsaken having to fill in the other roles. They need to play more standard meta comps if they wanna have a chance of winning something. For this to work, jingg needs to grind the offseason with sentinels and learn to not overheat and overpeek when playing these agents.

3. IGL: They need a dedicated fixed IGL and imo davai is the perfect candidate for that. He has the calmest aim, oldest player on the team, most consistent player, and he always doubles down on his team's discipline when they lose.

Here are my some suggestions for some maps (with the current map pool)

Sunset:
Honestly, They only lost it a few times and it was their best map, their current comp is fine, but I prefer some changes

• Jingg: Raze obv
• f0rsaken: Breach
• something: Gekko
• mf: omen
• davai: Sage but preferably cypher is better

Ascent:

• Jingg: Killjoy
• f0rsaken: sova
• something: jett
• mf: omen
• davai: kayo

Lotus:
Now lotus gets tricky because holy shit they still pick jett here which is just not that good, playing double duelist on lotus means you won't have a sentinel OR you only run 1 initiator which is just weak asf.

• Jingg: Raze
• f0rsaken: cypher or KJ (kj is way better here)
• something: breach
• mf: omen
• davai: fade

Bind:
Their current bind comp is fine actually and it's pretty good.

• Jingg: raze
• f0rsaken: fade
• something: gekko
• mf: brimstone
• davai: fade

Icebox:
Their icebox has been so hit or miss, it's a literal cointoss, and having double sentinel on attack is just so weak, having an extra initiator will help:

• Jingg: killjoy
• f0rsaken: sova
• something: jett
• mf: viper
• davai: kayo

Haven:
haven has been prx's worst map due to the fact that jingg can only play reyna or iso here and it's just so fuckin bad

• Jingg: killjoy
• f0rsaken: sova

• davai: breach

Now abyss should probably have the same comp as haven but with jingg on cypher instead

yeah that's a problem as well, there would be no annual salary from riot. The players would still earn salaries from their orgs though (established orgs, no-name small orgs would have difficulty)

I mean, I guess the only way to monetize your team is to win more. If your team is bad and don't qualify for even the regional lan qualifiers, then I'm sorry but you won't earn much or anything at all, that's just the nature of sports and the game. I think that's how they do it in CS and Dota.

for champions with a 32 team imo would be logistically be difficult, like Lock//In. They could do that if the esports industry is much more financially stable and have valorant be more popular

Honestly franchising is a more organized system which can benefit riot by having all of their s tier tournaments organized by riot only, but honestly IMO it's much less exciting

1. League + playoffs is essentially the qualifiers for any international tournament
2. If you suck then you can only play 10 matches - 13 matches, and play matches that don't even matter
3. There are less chances for teams to win trophies
4. off season is shockingly long and boring

I always wonder what if valorant adopted CS or Dota's style of tournaments, where 3rd party organizers can organize tournaments and I feel like having more than 3 international tournaments a year is just way more excitingg (which means you have to stretch the timeline from february till late october or november)

They can do it like how Dota does it (the DPC system back in like 2017 to 2023), where there are a bunch of majors/s tier tournaments and 1 huge tournament organized by valve (The International). In val this would be Champions.
In valorant, orgs like ESL, BLAST, PGL, and IEM can be 3rd party organizers, and have like maybe 4 or 5 huge international majors/masters and 1 champions (4 is probably the way to go) per year. It would be like:

February: Masters Qualifiers 1 per region
Late Feb-Mid March: Masters 1
Mid March - Early April: Break/Patch change or something
Mid April: Masters Qualifiers 2 per region
Early May-Mid May: Masters 2
Mid May - Early June: Break/Patch Change
June-Early July: Masters Qualifiers 3 per region
Mid July-Mid August: Masters 3
Mid August: Early September Break/Patch Change
Mid September - Early October: LCQ/Open qualifier per region for only 1 slot (LAN)
Mid October-Early Nov: Valorant Champions
Nov - February: Offseason and Roster Shuffling

This would have a circuit point system (similiar to valorant in 2021 actually) where the top 3 teams per region would be directly invited to Champions
and the last slot is an LCQ with 1 more team.

Teams get circuit points based on how well they do in regional qualifiers and international tournaments

Regional (Top 3 goes masters):
1st = 5 points
2nd = 3 points
3rd = 2 points
4th = 1 point

Masters Point:
1st = 10 points
2nd = 6 points
3rd = 5 points
4th = 4 points
5-6th = 3 points
7th-8th = 2 points

IMO, giving huge points to the masters and regional qualifiers winners make sense because you deserve to be in champions if you win a masters (or atleast this point gap can help a lot, though if you win 1 masters and lose the rest of the year then you're cooked)

1 problem I would have is that I don't know how the regions will go, It can be the same as the current regions rn tbh
Americas = 4
EMEA = 4
APAC = 4
CHINA = 4

which can work but I think it's more fair to split the Americas into 2 NA and 2 SA
Ideally all the qualifiers should be LAN but historically most of these qualifers are online, which will be hard for the NA and SA matches.

1 thing I can think of is to make the open qualifiers online and the qualifiers for masters a LAN + broadcasted tournament, with 12 teams (and ofcourse, a trophy!

(each team from each region like Americas for example. the 6 NA teams, 3 latam, and 3 br teams, will all be in one 12 team tournament for the masters qualifier)
Americas = 6 NA teams, 3 LATAM, 3 BR,, qualifier LAN in LA
EMEA = I have no idea how EMEA would work but maybe go 6 western europe 3 CIS/Eastern Europe, the rest are MENA, qualifier LAN in Berlin
APAC = 6 SEA Teams, 3 KR teams, 3 JP teams, qualifier LAN in Seoul
China = 12 chinese teams ofc,, qualifier LAN in shanghai

These are my thoughts on how this would go. 3 masters + 1 champions is a decent system

positives = more matches, more trophies to win, more tournaments, 3rd party organizers, more breaks for players and a short off season, more chances for unknown/lower tier teams to make internationals, no franchise system, no ascension system
negatives = probably logistically more difficult, and the schedule would clash with league worlds

Maybe there are flaws or corrections that you vlr guys can make, feel free to suggest it!

tdlr: vct system is 3 masters + 1 champion, season is february to october, open qualifier online, LAN qualifier offline, more trophies, point system, top 3 teams with most points per region invited to champs, lcq for last slot

2. this means have Jingg flex on killjoy or other agents on non raze maps. On icebox they could go kayo,gekko,jett,kj, and viper. On haven they can have double init + jett + jingg as kj. On ascent, its 100% the same thing, double init and jingg as kj.

as a PRX fan who's been fucking frustrated with this team, there are so many reasons as to why Mindfreak usually botfrags and plays bad.

It's because half the team are so disjointed and don't know where to go or where to attack. He's said it before in the shangai vlog after G2 i think that he doesn't know where to put his smokes because the 3 no-brain aggressive players can't make up their mind on where to go and stuff. The job of the controller is to smoke and block sightlines so that his team can freely execute the site (or on defense its to block attackers from going in)

Jinggg even said it himself that PRX don't even know what they're doing, so that can really confuse the hell out of the only single controller player.
Mindfreak isn't the problem. I do even think that even if Karon were in his shoes, he'd definitely get confused as well and underperform.

a lack of an IGL also is the reason why this team just falls apart so much. There's noone to keep this guys in check in game. Alecks can scream all he wants but he's not in the game so he can't control high-pressure fast paced moments and decisions.

Though now that I think of it, maybe around 20% of the reason he underperforms is because he's not mechanically superior to other players, but the rest of it 80% is just PRX doing PRX things.

as much as I hate c9, I feel bad for them being the only team in franchising (2023-2024) to not qualify for an international tournament.

• Oxy (bro saved them so many rounds and matches, mechanically top 5 in americas for me)
• Runi (Fraggingwise and util wise he's very good, obviously he's not cut out to IGL) have him as 2nd init/flex

Kick:

• Xeppa (the only player from 2021 and he's just so mid, the asuna of c9 except asuna has improved so much)
• Vanity is mid
• Moose is a decent IGL and senti player but i dont think he's cut out for top 4 Americas

Get:

• Verno (he's SO good and obviously gonna get picked up by a franchising team) and have him as pure initiator
• Zander, wayy better smokes and fragger than vanity and I'm surprised he didn't get picked up by a franchising team, have him as controller and IGL
• For the sentinel position, I honestly have no idea who to pick, I mean neT is decent but he didn't get to prove himself in franchising, only playing in kickoff, I think dapr still has a chance to succeed in franchising but he's been having some botfrag games on OXG
• One player I have to see is aleksandar, bro is so fucking good and underrated for years now, He's been playing viper and kayo but I feel that he has no problem to transition to sentinel/viper role. He deserves to be in tier 1.
