We can all agree that 2024 Americas > 2023 Americas in terms of competitiveness right? i think next year will be even more competitive. The floor level of play increased massively and its noticeable how much harder it is to stay at the top with how fast teams adapt. For now, doesnt seems like there will be a "superteam", just a lot of really good ones. Also Aspas is leaving Americas which weather you like to admit or not makes the league more competitive since he kinda dominated while he stayed here LMAO

Sacy helps the coaching staff a lot with strats, comps and setplays he already said it multiple times. Not only that but he is really good for building young players and helping then realize their true potential

We know that Less is trying to go international as well and for those unaware Tuyz and Less are like best friends. Less is not the most sociable person but he sad multiple times how much he likes and even admires Tuyz, so its safe to assume they would try to go to the same team if possible, which means that its not very unlikely whe see these two go to EMEA in 2025

Bro im plat 3 and what i try to do is not think too much about games that were unwinnable. We all know that in low elo 1 out of 3 games have their outcome set in stone before they even start (this applies for wins too) so its important you ignore these games and not be too hard or high on yourself because of them. The games that decide if you rank up are not the one-sided massacres but the hard fought ones. If the game was lost from the start, breath and move on thinking "this next game is the one that matters because i can change its outcome"

Also tough but i think EMEA slightly edges because Alfa and Suygetsu exist but to be honest no region has a lot better Sentinel players compared to the others.

Mako is the goat controller + Mindfreak and Karon are probably in the top 5 or at least very close to it as well so yeah

Honestly i dont think the difference is that big. Obviously the top teams in t1 are 1000x better than any t2 team. But, the best teams from t2 are probably middle of the pack if not better in most t1 leagues. I would argue Apeks for instance should be coming into EMEA next year as a top 6 team at least.

Watching Ascension is making me realize that good players and ideas are not missing, the problem is actually climbing the ladder to the top through all the difficulties of competing and lack of incentive. Maybe you think thats obvious but seeing how many ass teams we had on t1 this year was making me question things

Brasil is a good example. We have SO MANY good players that literally 0 people outside of here know and meanwhile FURIA has some blood-pact with Mwzera and Khalil because they cant be dropped no matter what

Does anyone have a decent explanation for why Masters and Champions are called "International" events but the regional leagues arent? Every league besides China is composed by multiple countries which is the literal definiton of international and 2 of then are even INTERCONTINENTAL like APAC and EMEA.
