Alright then, TSM or G2? Handpicking one of the 2 is still very shitty for the other one and for everyone else who does meet the criteria

posted about a year ago

That is scenario #2. So for example we ask OPTC and they say yes, how is that fair with all orgs that have been trying to ascend this year

posted about a year ago

Is not about M80, you can't hand pick an org that is not in challengers because how is that fair with all the orgs that have been competing this year? And it is really awkward if you do it with an org that has been there, and still unfair

You would have complained just as much if they kicked them mid season

posted about a year ago

Alright this is awful for the players and I wanna see them franchised too. We are all blaming Riot, but I am yet to hear a better alternative than what they have done.

The Guard fired all their staff and does not have money at all, letting them in is a risk too big, players could not be paid or have scandals like that. People say then they shouldn't have let the guard in in the first place but there was literally an open qualifier, plus The Guard had their financial struggle mid year so what were they supposed to do kick them mid season?

Alright so we are put in this situation, now what do we do, we have 3 options imo.

  1. We let M80 in, which ig is an option but how does that beenfit the Guard players? And most importantly, why is it more fair than announcing 2 teams will ascend next year to compensate and all teams can plan accordingly. M80 didn't ascend, is not fair.

  2. We give the Guard players another org, but how? We let the players choose? Then it becomes a massive auction to see who pays more, which can lead to massive issues again, inflated salaries, or orgs pulling out and just waiting for opportunities like this one. The other option is riot chooses the org, in which case how is that fair with M80 and the rest of the orgs competing in VCL?

  3. We could also let the players compete FA and Riot pay them, but that wouldn't really make sense because at some point you still have to go through scenario number 2 at some point.

Those are the options I have been reading the most and none make sense to me. Before criticizing Riot let's think first, what is a viable solution that makes the most sense. Please be reasonable

posted about a year ago

Then who's taking the guard players. You can either let the players pick, aka an auction because the players will choose who ever pays the most. Or you can hand pick an org and help them reach an agreement, but then how is that fair for M80 for example? They don't get in and some random org that wasn't even there does

Riot didn't fuck up, The Guard did, what was Riot supposed to do kick them out mid split when they stopped investing and fired their staff? They could pay them but until when? You're going back to the first scenario at some point, it can't be forever

Ik it sounds shitty and I also wanna see the players franchised but I am yet to hear someone proposing a better alternative

If Jett wasn't nerfed 100%, but now he has to learn new agents fast enough to surprise some teams in tryouts. he is in a rush to perform on other agents since market is rn

Exactly you don't buy the slot, so Riot has even more right to choose if you're in or not. I think if they didn't let them in is because the problem was very serious.

So you're suggesting 2 options,
1 Let the roster be picked up by another team. Alright but then you're selling a slot and having a massive auction to see who picked them up which can lead to several big issues again, inflated salaries, or even orgs not entering the game and waiting for opportunities like this

2 Riot pay the players, alright but how is that competitively fair? The organizer can't own a team if you know what I mean

posted about a year ago

M8 was created 3 fucking days ago and they meet riot's conditions, if the Guard doesn't that means they are in a really really bad situation. letting them in is when you later get the scandal of players not being paid and asking why Riot didn't do something

posted about a year ago

#9. The Guard had their financial struggles mid year. What are you supposed to do kick the org in the middle of the year? that would have been just as bad

posted about a year ago

Nope, this is the same as when you buy a slot into any franchised league. The NBA for example, when you buy a team the league has to accept you in. Same in LEC or LCS. Also The Guard started to crumble economically mid split. If they ejected them mid split it would have been worse

posted about a year ago

If someone better us found in the tryouts that start tomorrow starxo can still be out

posted about a year ago

No, I think the doubt in their minds was that the guars wasn't gonna pay them long term. Do you think not meeting the criteria doesn't mean something?

posted about a year ago

This is just how it goes, be honest, if they gave the slot to M80 there would be the exact same amount of hate but saying they stole the Guars spot and saying it's rigged

posted about a year ago

I think he was part of the problem, not all of it, team could have worked with him and other pieces. But he is the leader of the project so therefore has to be hold accountable, he'll be back

posted about a year ago

I'm really high on Jemkin and Kristal, Jemkin as duelist is not doing the same something did, but very very similar. I have watched most of their games and he is pretty similar imo, really really good. Kristal is an IGL with an amazing firepower and flexibility, but obviously I haven't heard the comms

posted about a year ago

If Redgar ends up FA ofc but I wouldn't be sure. Yaboilewis is a tier 2 option that is fine but there are others, nothing too exciting imo

posted about a year ago

Top 4 teams have the top 4 IGL's so adding him would benefit them less than it would to the lower teams for that reason

posted about a year ago

That would be a very solid move but I seriously doubt it. Also atp I'm just going full Russian, get Jemkin or Bisk for the duelist and look for Russian talent there is more than enough, or even Kristal as IGL if you can't get Redgar

posted about a year ago

Same, he is the only good option as of now

All rebuilding teams, aka, TH, KC, VIT, KOI

posted about a year ago

Would be amazing but the chance is low xD

posted about a year ago

It doesn't work anymore, wouldn't make sense. Gotta move on, they might succeed individually.
Do gotta say Kiles is already resigned with Case for this year, zeek is not getting picked up in tier 1, and Bonecold and cned are gonna have hard times finding good projects

posted about a year ago

No, tryouts start tomorrow. I'm saying that that is precisely not what they want, they need to avoid it as it's been proven it doesn't work anymore. So Bonecold and cNed are probably not their options

posted about a year ago

It's not a matter of he not fitting in, it's because both French teams are going all in for him and offering a lot of money, and the feeling is that he will take that route. That is what Lembo also said on stream

posted about a year ago

Def not rebuilding the old Acend, doubt that is the move, it already failed

posted about a year ago

You're right about Enzo, not likely
I do not like Bonecold at all, been kicked of a lot of teams, last year in vitality Baddyg was Igling and this year it was Destrian a lot, he is always the first piece to go for a reason. Plus not really a big upgrade

About cNed, I would take long long tryouts on him, currently he is not a better sentinel than Wolfen, it's not the right move imo, he would have to impress a lot in tryouts

posted about a year ago

Yeah but a good IGL like who, Enzo apparently is not an option

posted about a year ago

Yup I'm also worried as I think Enzo is not gonna be possible and I don't want Bonecold under any circumstance. I really can't think of anyone, and in a certain way that might explain the starxo part as we know he does great mid rounding so they might wanna keep him in case they can't find a pure IGL

posted about a year ago

I'll take FNS xD

posted about a year ago

As of now Wolfen is a better sentinel than cned

posted about a year ago

Have you heard about the Jett nerf?

Karmine is going international and Keloqz is going to tier 2

5th seed in the easter conference of the MENA VCL xD

posted about a year ago

No, he'll be in tier 2 and try to comeback next year, like Enzo this year or bonecold the year before

posted about a year ago

He helps a lot with the mid rounding and is a very experienced guy

According to Spanish Leaker Lembo, there was a meeting in the recent days to tell the players who is continuing for next year.

Trexx and Sheydos were told the club wants them to stay and counts with them for next year. (Ig another team could still sign them but doesn't seem likely anymore and they would have to pay)

Starxo was told he will also most likely continue but the certainty of this didn't seem as strong as the other 2 so he seems to be in for now but could change at some point, following the tryouts starting tomorrow

The situation for Koldamenta and Wolfen is different, both were told yesterday the club does not intend to stick with them for next year. that being said they will be allow to take place in the tryouts of the team in case they don't find anything better.

As I said tryouts start tomorrow and we'll see how it develops it could change, but this is the initial situation

Edit: Here's the link, I add it now because I wrote this as he was explaining it on stream before he published

That's all we have as of now tho, intuition and feeling, we'll see

they also denied it before the tournament that's not new. He could be telling the truth or he could be lying because he can't admit it. There is literally no way of knowing

posted about a year ago

He is not a world class IGL because he doesn't IGL at all xD

He does have a value inside a team you can't really understand without knowing him, he is a great leader, has gone through everything, and doesn't crumble under pressure. To me it doesn't justify his awful firepower, but the org believes his firepower will improve a lot under a good dynamic. Again it's not my opinion, it's just what0's going on

posted about a year ago

Not really, they genuinely think he still got it and that he is still more than good enough. You can agree or disagree (I disagree), I'm just saying it's not that much of a clout thing, they genuinely think so.

Also in a certain way it makes sense since they are going for a full rebuild of young tier 2 players (Benjy, trying to get Woot etc), Mixwell would be a great piece to help those pieces blend in

posted about a year ago

So the information rn is, mixwell has the power to decide, if he decides to keep competing TH will keep him, if he decides to retire TH will respect it. That being said, next year has 2 splits which means spending half of the year in Berlin away from his family so it is actually a breaking point that could make him retire. Hasn't decided yet

posted about a year ago

I mean the narrative in PRX would be amazing but I doubt he's got the level

posted about a year ago

I wouldn’t be that sure he is going to NAVI, he has been praccing with a shit tone of teams, and playing with pros from many teams, Benjy and TH too for example.

If he were to go to NAVI I feel like it wouldn’t be in place of cNed, I feel like that would mean they are benching cNed and someone else. Zyppan?

About the rules, technically he is not 18 until after Masters Madrid, before split 2. Idk if there is any rule that allows players turning 18 mid season play before, we gotta find out Ig

If you're competing for ascension maybe not, but if you are a lower team ofc you do, it can help you a lot. Plus is not even necessary you can have him in the dynamic of the first time. Young, plays literally everything, cracked af
