No idea why you're being downvoted, you're absolutely right. The lack of empathy some people on this site have towards sexual assault survivors is astounding. It's unfortunately a common occurrence for victims to drop legal charges, since the legal system around sexual assault is absolutely fucked, and it can be extremely stressful to have to deal with a legal case in the public eye on top of the trauma they already have to process. It's a little worrying how many members of this community turn a blind eye to this sort of stuff when it has to do with a creator/player they like.
