mr. fourth quarter has arrived

please welcome @Shanks_TTV to the #NRGFam

This is the first organization Shanks has signed with in Valorant, despite playing for multiple such teams. He trialed with Dignitas in August for Pop Flash, but the organization announced in September they decided not to sign him. More recently, he was an emergency fill-in for Immortals during the First Strike UMG Closed Qualifier when Andrew "ShoT_UP" Orlowski was unable to play.

Shanks played for NRG during the Nerd Street Gamers November Monthly a few weeks ago. The team went 0-2 during that tournament, although several players were playing in new roles during an official match for the first time.

NRG is still a fairly new team, having debuted during the First Strike qualifiers. In fact, that NSG monthly was the first tournament outside of First Strike the team had ever competed in.

This is NRG's fifth player signing. While the organization did bring in Loic "effys" Sauvageau as a trial before First Strike, they never actually signed him. The organization has competed with just four signed players to this point.

However, they may not be done making changes to their roster. Yannick " KOLER " Blanchette announced announced on Twitter earlier this month he had been benched by NRG but was still under contract.
