It was a great ride with some outstanding moments but unfortunately today we bid farewell to our VALORANT Roster. We would like to thank all the passionate and talented people who have been a part of this ride!

The full press release outlined the perceived issues:

While VALORANT made quite an impression during its launch, but as time went by, it was unable to maintain its initial hype. Even the current status of coverage when it comes to EU Valorant is strenuous as most of the games are single elimination, BO1's. Thereby making it difficult to follow the games and gain more exposure.

SKADE recently fell short of qualifying for First Strike: Europe despite qualifying for the first play-in stage and coming within one game of qualifying from both of the last two open qualifiers for the second play-in stage. Notably, they played only BO1 matches throughout the entire tournament.

With multiple players announcing their free agency, the team has also disbanded.
