well you working out to get stronger is holding your body back. your natural strength is stronger over anything, so the fact that you work out to be stronger just proves that you're actually weak.

for me, ive never been to the gym and i can bench 20 kg for 2. most can only do like 6 kg kekw

Not wrong. Gym is only really for aesthetics and if you want to max out, but overall normal physical labor(or lucky genes) is better for real strength and daily use. There are people who go to gym daily and struggle moving boxes or furniture.

do you go to the gym to able to defend yourself? no, martial arts or self defense classes are much more effective.

do you go to the gym to be more healthy? no, there are much healthier workouts than pulling and pushing weights. doing anything outside, for example - just like humans used to do in prehistoric times.

do you go to the gym to build discipline? no, you can do that in other ways that benefit you much more, like building productive habits, job-related habits, learning-related habits, etc.

do you go to the gym to look better? yes. it’s about looking more attractive to mating partners. that’s all.
isn’t it so dystopian that so many of you are dragging around heavy objects, to build a strength you dont actually use?

do you go to the gym to build strength? yes. why? you don’t use it. unless… someone wants you to be strong. who wants you to be able to run around carrying heavy stuff? that’s right.
the recent gym culture and popularization of it - who benefits from it? the people that own you, that want you to fight their wars, while you wear heavy military gear. YOU ARE A COG IN THEIR SYSTEM. WAKE UP.

my apologies, Resistance training. Gyms provide an incredible output for this and a superior one that to any other option. We misunderstand the benefits from RT and try to gather it into an umbrella term that "all exercise" does the same things, and therefore all benefit will come from one form.
