The first-ever international offline tournament in Valorant esports will begin on Monday, where the best teams from across the world converge in Iceland for Masters Reykjavik, the second Masters tournament in the Valorant Champions Tour.

The event marks an important moment in Valorant. Since the game's launch, the esports scene has been confined to mostly online play due to the COVID-19 pandemic, making this the first opportunity to see how the different regional playstyles will clash, and to determine an international top tier field.

With the week-long tournament ahead, VLR.gg has complied everything that you need to know.

Format

Teams will play in a double elimination bracket; all matches are best-of-three, with the grand finals being a best-of-five. Sentinels and Team Liquid, the number one teams from North America and Europe respectively, earned top seeding, while the rest of the field was randomly seeded.
