5/12 Teams next season will be Korean teams.
Do you think it is fair for the rest of the region?
A lot of tier 2 teams in SEA has folded their valorant division because of no support in tier 2.

sea still has many teams in tier 1 and 2 of the 5 kr teams are ascension teams, this is not unfair at all bro

And those players either found t1 spots (mith to talon) if they were talented or moved to other tier 2 teams, while the rest of the bottom feeders had no team. Would not have changed ascension results at all.

Honestly, this is fair. Ascension only had 1 KR team seeded through qualifying yet still they still won just the same. It's pretty clear that at Tier 1 and on average, KR teams are still just better as teams. It's painful but it's the truth. Sure, perhaps if the T2 scene hadn't been so affected, more orgs and talent would be playing within the circuit and more motivated to grind but the same can be said for KR tier 2. Truth is, we're just ass and choke when it matters. I am used to it as a Thai fan ~ Thai teams choke in every sport be in physical or e-sports.

Actually, you should be glad Tier2 korea gets only 1 slot from their split, FearX who lost to SLT were the better team 90% of the year until the last second, and they would walk over half of VCT Pacific comfortably

how is it not fair. literally all of them have proved their worth. slt and nongshim just won. t1 won bangkok. geng and drx both did well at toronto and paris respectively. every other team is just ass besides prx

Quite fair we need more korean teams..

keep in mind korean teams got big handicap with korean comms. Can't even get big import.

SEa teams atleast can go all out with full apac talentpool & import. EVen jemkin alone was good enough to take them down in apac.
