i don't think that aspas is the best player of all time.
HOWEVER
he may be the best impressive shooter the game has ever seen. it might be objectively true at some point. i don't think he is the best player of all time because he does somewhat struggle in some areas where others are more well-rounded
i believe he is the best duelist of all time. he plays the game on a level that is genuinely above every other player. as a duelist. in that one aspect.
he is one of the only duelists where i can wholeheartedly at least enter him into the goat conversation. at any other opportunity i would pick people like leo, alfa, nats(yes nats youre not ready for that conversation), but not a duelist despite them being often the flashiest and highest kills. posting a lot of kills is a big difference to deadlifting your team to round wins, to map, series wins, and thats what those support players did. they were big players in big moments. but you know what? so is aspas. i didn't watch much of mibr's games (thank you school), but i watched mibr vs nrg. i watched aspas carry entire rounds on his back, singlehandely almost winning corrode to send mibr to top 3. when it comes to having that crazy impact and being the difference, aspas is nothing if not that.
