last year, EDG acquired S1mon (initiator player). Haodong (their previous controller) became an assistant coach, and won Champs shortly after. Haodong left to join a bottom table team and struggled to reach Split 1 playoffs. Shortly after Split 1 of 2025 started, there was an altercation between EDG and S1mon.

this year (during kickoff), PRX acquired PatMen (initiator player). mindfreak (their previous controller) became an assistant coach......

but wait, there's more....

S1mon lost his debut match, but won the next 11/12 matches to win CN Stage 2 and Champs.
PatMen lost his debut match, but has won 4/4 matches so far, having reached Top 4 in the Pacific Split 1 playoffs.

the question know is.... will the win streak continue???

Unlike EDG Mindfreak isn't actually with the team during matches. Yes he could be contributing from his home but there is a difference.
