Why is this guy always so good regionally but so ass internationally?
Reminds me of leaf, dominating in his region and looks clueless on the international stage.
leaf underperforms slightly, but is still pretty good for most matches. sayf is straight up ASS on lan and he's one of my favorite emea players.
Leaf was the 12th rated player at Bangkok, above KangKang, Meteor, Less, etc. Not sure clueless is the right word to use. He wasn't as good as he was regionally but clueless is an over exaggeration.
Does he look that good? Im watching this game and at least in map 1 vitality looked kinda bad. They kind of just won a lot because they got hero plays, if they play like they did just now theyd get wrecked by top teams globally I feel like
it's just a pattern I've noticed a lot where he is great at fragging in the emea league but then chokes on lan. specifically last map he was playing great from an individual standpoint.
Tbh it feels like that just comes from the fact that gx put up less of a fight. When the other team is weaker its easier to frag in the first place and also takes a lot of pressure off the IGL. His fragging imo is just part of the larger problem of Vitality looking like they can only really punch down. I do get the frustration tho, bc they just look like they should be better with these mechanics
different mentality maybe
in previous internationals he was nowhere near as bad as he was in bangkok but now that he’s an IGL everything just changes
he has always underperformed internationally but bangkok was exceptionally bad, I think he was struggling playing smokes so much ngl
