“We will put on a good performance in Berlin,” Yu "BuZz" Byung-chul (유병철) promised his fans. “All eyes will be on us and we will try to win it."

BuZz is one of the three additions to the Vision Strikers Vision Strikers Inactive stax Kim Gu-taek (김구택) Rb Goo Sang-min (구상민) Zest Kim Ki-seok (김기석) BuZz Yu Byung-chul (유병철) MaKo Kim Myeong-gwan (김명관) roster after they failed to make it to Masters - Reykjavik at the hands of NUTURN. The young Jett player joined Vision Strikers along with Kim "MaKo" Myeong-gwan (김명관) and Kim "Lakia" Jong-min (김종민) as part of a series of movies VS made before Stage 3. Those moves included the retirement of their veteran in-game leader Kim "glow" Min-soo (김민수) and him settling on to a coaching role inside the organization.

"It was really an honor to join the best team in Asia,” BuZz said. “I couldn't believe that they wanted me, I was really excited to play with this team and win championships."

The move has clearly paid off both for BuZz and Vision Strikers. Not only did Vision Strikers win their VCT Korea Stage 3: Challengers, but BuZz also put-up dazzling numbers that included the highest first blood count throughout the tournament. At least so far, he has fit in seamlessly alongside Goo "Rb" Sang-min (구상민) in the Vision Strikers' duelist role.

BuZz led all players in first bloods in Korea's S3 Challengers Playoffs BuZz's entries were a key piece to Vision Strikers' success in Stage 3.

BuZz's success on the team might not be surprising due to his immense raw talent that he displayed on RIO Company, but he was far from a finished article back then. The presence of veterans in the team in the form of Rb and glow has helped him to develop his overall game.

“They do a good job of teaching things about playing the game, which helps me develop a good game sense,” BuZz said of Rb and glow. “It also helps me play my role in the team. I learn from them how to play Jett safely and how to get a kill easily.”

The Valorant community was abuzz with excitement when Masters: Reykjavik was first announced for the opportunity to see Vision Strikers take on the top teams from Europe and North America. This Vision Strikers team isn't the same one from back then, but it may prove to be an even more exciting matchup than the one fans first anticipated months ago.

“I think we can win against any region or any team, it doesn't matter to us where our opponents are from,” BuZz said.

While Vision Strikers missed out on Masters: Reykjavik, they still have experience from that LAN on their team in the form of Lakia, who played in Valorant's first international LAN with NUTURN. His Sova play put his old team on his back at times and carried them through tough matches, most notably against Version1.

“He talks a lot about his experience in Iceland and what had happened in Masters 2,” BuZz said. “His experience is valuable to us and it helps us improve a lot.”

Lakia had the 4th highest K:D in Masters 2 Lakia finished Masters: Reykjavik with the fourth highest K:D. He was the only player on NUTURN in the top 15.
Not only did the roster improve after the team's overhaul and adaptation to a seven-player squad, but the individual players on the roster have continued to get better with each other's help.

Naturally, fan expectations for Visions Strikers are high. But so are their own expectations. “We are very confident about Masters 3,” BuZz said. “At the very least we want to make it to the playoffs, but we want to win it all in Berlin.”

The fans have finally gotten what they wanted with Vision Strikers finally competing in an international LAN. Expectations are high, but with the experience of glow behind their back and the firepower of BuZz and Rb they sure can leave a long-lasting impression on the international stage.

After more than a year of creating set plays copied across the globe and building hype off of their regional dominance, Vision Strikers finally have the opportunity to show they're as good as they've looked.

With the experience of gl0w and all the LAN experience from Korea behind them, it's time to find out if Vision Strikers will dominate the world the same way they've dominated Korea.
