What are your take on Japanese Franchised teams
I think Giving 2 Franchised teams to Japanese region was Not a good region expect a team from Vietnam or Oceania could have been a better pick for the Franchise league

Like Detonation Gaming Is so down Right know everybody thinks they will bottom the Pacific League
And Zeta Everyone thinks they will perform good in league but there recent performance was not as good as there Master run where they ended 3rd
I don't think Zeta will perform good this tournament coz
Lazz is not on chamber
They can't decide the roles of Tennin and Crow

Sugarzero is the only good player from their Teams

Pacific teams will be lucky to get even TENNN rounds. They’ll need extra Sugar(Z3ro) in their coffee to keep up with ZETA’s reaction time, as they’re known to never be Laz-y in the server. Unfortunately for DRX, they will surely be eating crow as they’ll fail to keep up in the fragging 'Dep'artment

unironically the chamber nerf was disastrous for zeta, would love for them to prove me wrong though. for dfm they desperately need some sauce asap, they have talented players on paper they just need a solid igl or coach to guide them. i will always be japan's biggest doubter yet i wil always root for them

Both Japanese teams just have terrible management. Xdll and Hiroron who recently won Challengers were with ZETA last year but they decided to stick with the same roster. JoxJo was literally a free agent in the off season but DFM chose to have Reita IGL the team. They also picked up 2 coaches who have no achievements whatsoever.

Unironically, the OG Absolute Jupiter in kinda destroying the Japanese scene. The entire team has been picked up for franchised when only Laz and takej can really hang with the best. They only thing most of them have is experience but its not like that shows in the gamplay.

You don't think so? I feel he's mechanically talented enough to not get out aimed. His agent pool just sucks

2 slots for JP is fine cuz viewers and what not. I just wish it was CR or some other org instead of DFM. DFM talent management is stupid af but I hope they bring in actual good players and keep xnfri

Jpn has insane viewership and fan involvement.

Zeta have not made any changes to a roster which was slowly going downhill..

Dfm made a terrible kr jpn mix roster.

Jpn has a small talent pool but it's good enough for atleast 1 great team

is the region good enough for 2 teams? maybe not but why compare it to vietnam and oce lol, i think they are on the same level with those two

Tbh fennel and CR are better than dfm, and maybe zeta, but I wouldn’t guarantee that they are franchise level either

I think its fine to give the region two teams because the region has pretty solid talent in the scene (or so I have heard). Just both Zeta and ESPECIALLY DFM did not make very good roster moves to actually compete in the franchise league. Basically, the region as a whole has players that can compete, just those teams are probably not the best show of talent the Japan region can produce.

DFM are a respected organization in Japan, but their team management could be better.

  1. Xnfri, Anthem, (and maybe TakeJ) are great pickups, and they can be crucial to DFM's games.
  2. Reita is past his time. There are better IGLs (JoxJo, Neth, oitaN), and I have no idea why DFM didn't bother to give them a shot.
  3. Suggest is the one pickup I don't know what to think about because he is quite inconsistent. However, his calling seems to be MARGINALLY better so I believe he should be IGL.
  4. Seoldam absolutely deserves a shot after taking a year break. HOWEVER, I don't think straight up throwing him on a partnership team is it. He should've bided his time and took some time to play in Challengers to get back in groove. Maybe we'll all be wrong and he'll come back to his patented Korean Jett form, but, for now, strange pickup.
  5. They should've gotten better coaches. I mean even an imported coach would've been good.

ZETA needs better ideas, but I think these moves would have been beneficial for them.

  1. Moving crow to coaching. He showed that he has good ideas in the past, but he as a player is unfortunately mid. He can bolster the coaching with his ideas, somewhat like bonkar now.
  2. TENNN should've been benched. Sorry to say. If anything, they should've signed Thiefy from IGZIST because he's the closest 1-to-1 player to TENNN.
  3. Moving Dep to a flex role. He has good firepower but he overheats a lot. If he's on a passive-ish role, he can pop off -- he has done so in the past.
  4. In place of Dep, signing a duelist like Pepper or even CLZ (in case CR doesn't want to cut Meiy loose). They could've been the fresh youngbloods that ZETA needed.

Who do you think should be the IGL for Zeta in this case? According to the academy coach Vorz, Sugarzero moved away from the position of IGL after LockIn
