so as we know the GC LAN is gonna be held in brazil (massive rito L btw) but it will only have 150 spectators, why do yall think this is? is it so that people cant say crowd was empty at non-BR game, rito small indie company?

what do yall think?

its because riot want to keep gc small.
they want the focus to be on the main circuit

Valorant Game Changers is the best and most popular female esport, why dont riot capitalize on ot and try to make it a big deal?

I personally feel like they can achieve both at the same time.
could easily have 1k arena for gc.

The issue is riot not expanding the masters and champs arenas yet.
jpn could do 10k arenas

because there is no chinese teams in GC
riot loves china (china = money)
therefore
no china = no money
no money = no need to invest a lot (especially there is not as much viewership)
riot loves drama
therefore
they want brazilians and others fight online about crowd
also horses are cool

I'm pretty sure the official reason given is that they had a limited budget, and they decided to use a smaller venue to instead focus more on the stream setup and getting more features and extra stuff on the broadcast other than the match
