So business as usual, I woke up went to gym, worked, and opened up my phone and saw the huge amount of destruction and death that's happening in Turkey and Syria right now and couldn't help but cry

Hope Riot does something to honor the victims after hosting champs in Turkey last year, it's a tragedy

EDIT: my mental health is fine guys, we need to show solidarity for our turkish brothers on this website

man watching the videos hit different, people losing their babies, their parents under the rubble

this will affect turkiye for generations, and my turkish friends say the government is hella corrupt too with a very bad wealth gap

It is perfectly fine to feel this way man, this things happen and we can't do shit but help each other out

If this is something that does affect you mentally a lot, I would recommend taking a break from news media/social media to recover, it can get pretty bad if you let it 🙏

Moments like these are traumatizing; all we can do is hope that everyone is okay or mourn those that the world lost. We can't live the same way or for the same duration with events like these.

But, be sure you don't get too much onto these videos or pics. I wouldn't like to see a great community member mourn so much that it harms their mental health badly.

Let's just hope and pray that everyone recovers and gets together with their loved ones. <3

You are a good person, my friend.
I know it's good for you as a person to stay informed. But those types of things in excess fuck your mental badly. Take a break from the news, brother.

I cry at beautiful songs.
Beautiful moments.
Sad times.
Hard times.

Crying is strength.

Only the weak don’t cry.

While showing support for both Turkey and Syria, I observed through flyradar that the airspace near Syria is nearly empty due to sanctions, whereas Turkey's airspace is bustling and crowded. It is imperative to not overlook the situation in Syria and provide aid to both nations

And guess which country made this sanctions and dropped bombs on Siria? Yep, the most democratic and pure country in the world(in their propaganda).
