Shahzam & G2

People seem to have forgotten how good Shahzam was in 2020 + 2021.
Only those people trash talk him who didn't watch matches or don't understand the game cuz he had so much impact in winning various tournament be it as IGL or his individual performances, especially as jett. Remember his performances on icebox & split in iceland (even he had more ACS than tenz in reykjavik on Jett).
If sentinels are the most famous team rn, it's cuz of the previous roster they had including zombs, sinatraa, sick, tenz, dapr & especially shahz who lead them. My point is, SEN seem to act so tough rn but they would be nothing without their Ex-players.
2022 was just a bit unlucky in many aspects(e.g. playing with subs cuz of issues with Tenz & sick, zombs losing motivation etc). But, It's redemption time now & G2 are gonna be much better than they are anticipated. Mark my words & come back to this thread at the end of year!

they had no coach, no analyst, no training facilities yada yada yada. sick took leaves with0ut prior information. yea but sure streaming lost them matches

#13

and they had a leader who acts like a bitch and cares more about his brand than his teams performance

dude u act llike he was sacrificing his prac time for streaming. that is just objectively brain dead. name me one team that succeeded without having a coach and set roster of players that didnt go awol mid season. what was he supposed to do?

are u dumb obviously they arent praccing if he has the time to stream like 6 hours everyday so wtf are they doing then and why were they not changing anything when they saw teams were simply out working them, nothing wrong with that but they were just simply not a winner mentality team

who would he pracc with if he doesnt have a coach, when one of his players is taking leaves without disclosing the reason (at least to the public). even tenz was getting sick every other day. how blinded r u by the hate lmao

lmao what is this gas lighting "HoW BliNdEd aRe yOu bY tHe HaTe" im just saying what i think of him as a player what,as u can see they are not a winning mentality team thats what i said and shahzam doesnt have it in him to be a real leader, way too focused on other things and are you really saying they could not find 1 substitute to scrim when they were missing sick or tenz

lmao. i would recommend u learning the meaning of words that u throw around so casually. i asked u to give me a single player who was in his shoes, that pracced and overcame all the adversity that shahz was presented with. ofc if his team and his org are falling apart from within, streaming is the next most reasonalbe thing to do

well what i would do is contact the org about it confront the players and talk about wtf are we doing, why do they not have a coach, analyst or any subs when apparently they literally just cant scrim because sick and tenz are just having problems 24/7 ,why do we not bootcamp or atleast focus on solving these problems instead of just letting the team crumble with no effort to get better lol

Exactly bro. And, even Tenz had his illness issues. These people seem like too blind to be able to perceive the actual problems.

Valid points that will sadly, probably be disregarded because of what people think of Shahzam since he did that thing, that one time, in that other game which has nothing to do with his skill as a player

2021 was a long time ago, he was just not hitting in 2022 simple as that there aren’t excuses for that. we’ll see if he can bring back his 2021 form on G2 tho it’s possible

i agree he had a bad season. but people come out of their slumps routinely. we are just too used to demonize him and making him the fall guy because he streamed too much in his free time.

I think it's safe to say that shahzam is going to be a good player in ascension but I'm still unsure about the other pieces of the team

Shahz is literally just bad on every agent but Jett and he won’t be playing Jett for G2

Few things to take away here:

  • Shaz did stream a bit too much instead of practicing(SEN was still at fault here)
  • No Coach, It worked for a bit when TenZ can just outaim everyone like it's ranked, but as soon as teams start to bring in analysts and coaches, the "TenZ go kill" Strat stopped working as well as it did, you can't just say 2022 was unlucky.
  • Player problems, the players had personal issues like zombs with the team instead of taking the blame, we've seen this in the NBA aswell, you can just throw superstars onto a team and expect to win every game(2022 nets)
  • You cannot say SEN is nothing with their new roster, TenZ is still cracked, Zekken is one of the most talented young players, Dephh is a weak point but he is no where near a bad player, and im prettey sure that Sacy and pAncada are nothing to laugh at either. They do have a coach and analyst now so it's not as hopeless and people make it seem. Only thing im worried about is not getting enough practice.
  • You are not wrong about G2 being better than they seem rn, but i think the main reason is Dapr, Dapr could have played a T1 team no problem, but now that he's in ascension, I expect big performances out of him.

I really do hope sen can do something this year, Im gonna stay loyal as a SEN fan because all teams have rough times, 2022 was just not SEN's year

  • Tenz go kill isn't as big a thing. Everyone on the team was playing great when they were winning. Like i said, go see Shahz's stats on jett in Reykjavik. It was a collective team win.
  • Tenz didn't know how to play raze, his only 2 agents were jett & reyna, then came issues with Sick + Tenz's illness & with lack of proper coach and analyst SEN were left behind tactically. They had to play with subs.
  • I am not saying current team is bad, they have champs winners, ofc they are good.
  • But all I am saying is, the org needs to respect ex-SEN players who made them what they are right now. I still think Shahz is a lot better than dephh both as IGL + individually.
I respect you for still supporting SEN but for me personally, org's name itself is nothing but it's the players which make the org.

shaz needs to drop igl honestly, pretty good player that is being hindered by his sub par calls and weak strats (lack of coaching before obv didn't help)

Shazham was good even during LCQ, genuinely asking how many better tier 2 IGL’s is there? 1? 2? Please leave the person aside I really do not like him either, I’m talking about the player
