It's true that your Lan Houses are actually insane? Like i saw a video where a Lan house had 800mpbs of internet like wtf 😮

Is It expensive? Like How many hours can i be inside this type of Lan Houses playing?

I’m sure most countries have them but they mainly only exist in East Asia. You would be considered weird if u went to a pc cafe in the US

Yeah I’ve seen them but like no one goes to them. People just get their own PCs there isn’t really a need for a cyber cafe industry in the US

cybercafes arent really a thing in america, though tbf were not exactly developed kekw

They are not common in the US or heavily US influenced cultures. These include the UK, Canada, AUS and NZ, where PC cafes are simply not a part of the culture.

I would recommend bumping when it isn't the middle of the night in Korea

I can't understand why people prefer cybercafe instead your own setup. Like the monitor, chair, mouse, keyboard and even mousepad are the big things.

I play on herman miller, BenQ 240 with Dyac, finalmouse starlight-12 small and Wooting60HE and don't wanna switch to worse setup. Waiting my DA V3 pro with 4k hz cable rn.

They live in an apartment without room for one. Also they're dead cheap so you dont have to buy the games or anything related to them necessarily

You can use similar equipment around a similar level for a much cheaper price whenever you want at pc bangs

the main selling point is playing with your friends onlan, the atmosphere at a cybercafe also make you feel more fun. Imagine going to a pc cafe after school with your friends.

trueeee, the atmosphere is sooo good when you're playing at internet cafes, that's why I mosly play on cafes even though I have my own setup at home lmao

It's too expensive to actually buy a PC in Brazil, so a cyber cafe with a 240hz+ pc would fit perfectly in my life If It were possible.

For demonstrations, imagine that 1R$ (BR currency), were the same price as 1$ Dolar.

A great PC to play Valorant would cost at least 6000K+ Dolars, so no... It isn't as simple as buying your own setup.

You mean PC Cafe (bang)? Depends where you are from and your cost of living. When I played at Riot's official PC bang at LoL park, it equated to around 3000 won ($2,30 USD) for about an hour and half if I remember correctly, and others told me this one was on the more expensive end.

it usually costs less than or around 1000 won (like 77 cents) an hour, with prices getting lower depending on how many initial hours you purchase (2 hours isnt gonna be 2000 won, it'll be like 1800 won and so on).

And internet being 800mbps is actually on the low end lmao, a PC Cafe I went to outside of Seoul was over 1Gbps.

Thats way too cheap with the average salary of South Korea. With this price then its worth it to just play games at cafe and never buy a pc. Is this the same price for 244hz and good fps for valorant?

wdym, I literally lived there. it's true.

Yes and yes (I assume you mean 144hz)

Almost all proper PC cafes have AT LEAST 1660Tis (I saw a lot of notices that they were upgrading to 20 series a few years back)

yea im not saying you are lying but just surprise its that cheap. I mean 240hz but 144hz is decent. Damn, thats actually insane because one con about fps game like valorant is how expensive it is for the minimum setup required to not be at a disadvantage ( monitor fps...). Especially when you are a student.

wow, so cheap. With standard of living in S.K, that cost considered very cheap for more expensive PC Bang. No wonder Esport in KR so developed
